QUOTE (TheDeadWait @ Jul 6 2005, 06:01 AM) A-men! Nick Frost saying 'Cornetto' in that spot was so awesome, and if some people don't know what a cornetto is, either figure it out or use google or something! PS-- I totally didn't use google to figure it out <_< >_> *cough cough* |

I met the artist of the book, Zach Howard, at WizardWorld Chicago. He was a really cool guy. I was also informed that Edgar Wright bought all but 14 pages of the original artwork for the entire four issue series. After hearing that, I couldn't pass up buying a page for myself. I'm a sucker for original comic art anyway. I bought page 6 of issue 2. Pretty cool. It'll look nice framed.
I was dressed as Shaun at the time, too! |

I've just taken delivery of the first 3 "episodes" of the SOTD comic. I've gotta say, I'm a little dissapointed. They've diluted down some of the best bits... silly things really. The "cornetto" bit sticks in my mind.
Anyone else think the comic was a bit of a let down? |
