QUOTE (frostitute @ Feb 21 2005, 09:11 AM) I think Shenmue sucks, actually. Slow, lame, and not fun period. "How about a game of Lucky Hit?" Maybe next time, Ryo. I got a dreamcast with Shenmue 1 & 2 for an extra christmas present cause I was getting tired of my PS2 and my friend has them and still plays them, I think the series is awesome especially the 70 man battle, some kick ass kung foo beatch. |

Yes it was awesome, but I don't want to trudge through slow monotonous dialogue and unfun tasks just to get there.

QUOTE (WiseJoeyD @ Feb 20 2005, 01:49 PM) FACT There are only 4 poeple in Northern Ireland who enjoyed Shenmue; the rest hated it but appreciated Jet Set Radio Ah ha, so you you are the mysterious 4th Shenmue lover. My two friends and I have been awaiting this day. Let us rejoice and celebrate by buying small plastic capsule toys and turning them over in our hands! I love my dreamcast. |

I liked Jet Set Radio as well, what's wrong with that? If you're implying anything, anyway.

Or by practicising deadly martial arts moves in a deserted car park WITHOUT having MI5 come down on youe like a ton of hot bricks
Oh and why not have a live in nanny-Thing (what the hell was Ine-san?! Sausage warmer for Hazuki?! Usually you leave it a couple of decades before 'moving on' from a dead wife!) who bitches about you coming home late at 11..... Ine-san: I was so worried Ryo... [PRESS A] ARGH!! [Tipped hot noodles over her and stole her money] [Shenmue- 18 Edition with added Nozomi flirts] |

Ine-San was the hazuki slave...
And Jet Set Radio was cool, i always enjoyed it, although I always wished it had the trick freedom of tony hawks, rather than doing an auto trick all the time. |

Yeah Tony Hawk's gameplay is f-in good especially in THUG 2, if they were to transfer over the gameplay of THUG 2 into THUG 1 it would make the best Hawk game ever. The story of 2 sucked i hated all that jackass type stuff I prefered the career as a pro idea of 1. oop sorry back to Dreamcast, does anyone know if the sonic adventure series is any good? thinking of getting one of them. |

I'm not sure if I really enjoyed Shenmue at the time but I certainly look back on it fondly. It had some beautiful moments. I feel like I genuinely lived in that town for a bit.

Another good Dreamcast game was Skies of Arcadia. Apparently the Gamecube updates music was horrible compared to the Dreamcasts.
