I've voted Angel, but I could have easily voted Doyle (what a hero), Oz (best one liners) or Willow (what a babe

And then again when Glenn Quinn died. And then again when they are all sat around watching the video of him doing the advert for Angel Investigates. Oh so sad. |

It was an unexpected twist so early in the series and I think they did a great job of it - and it is all the more poignant since Glenn Quinn died.

Buffy of course, but I voted for Fred 'cos she's so de-lovely. Her voice had the power to melt my underpants.

Angel, again, like Spike a great character. Dark, brooding, but really tough and really funny on occasion. Who can forget when he started singing "Mandy"? I swear I never had Angel pegged as a Manilow fan.

Along with the one where he won't dance at Cordelia's party and you see him damncing in his mind's eye. Angel is such a closed character it's nice to get these little insights now and again. |

Exactly, he wants what everyone else does, to be liked, to be popular, to do what he thinks is fun, but the guilt will always hold him down. Some of his lighter moments are gems.

Angelus was awesome though. I don't think I could pick Angel as the greatest hero because in my mind he made one of the most impressive and formidable villains.
