I always really liked Ben Affleck, I admired his (and Matt Damon's) screenwriting abilities and his ambition and drive. He also seemed articulate and down to earth when interviewed and his position in Kevin Smith's film clique also endeared him to me.
Then came the whole Bennifer debarcle and I went off him a bit. Though my cousin has recently been working with Jennifer, who she tells me is lovely and I'm inclined to believe her rather than the press. Affleck's made some poor choices that's for sure, but I still like him. Plus he was the bomb in 'Phantoms'. |

You can tell he's an intelligent guy who got suckered in by the idiocy of mainstream American films. That's why he's so happy to take the piss out of himself in Jay and Silent Bob. One of his finest performances, that and Dogma.
He still comes across as a nobhead though. |

Classic.
You know I once met a guy who looked like Matt Damon by approaching him and saying "Has anyone ever told you you look nothing like Matt Damon?" He laughed so of course I was well in there. I later told him my other planned opener was "How d'you like them apples?", but I was worried he wouldn't get it. He said he would have loved it. Oh well, I pulled him anyway. He did look just like him...hmmmmm |

For goodness sakes, the man is incapable of acting! Alright so nowadays being good at acting doesnt seem to be a major requirement for actors, but you'd think he'd be able to do something. Instead he churns out a bigger stream of shit each year than a rhino with IBS!

Yeah, but as has been said before, he was the BOMB in Phantoms.
I like the guy, I just think he`ll never grow up, he just wants to be "one of the guys" too much. |

He's very funny in JaSBSB, he's great in Dogma and Mallrats, irritating in Chasing Amy (but I suspect that's the point) and I really enjoyed his performance in Changing Lanes. He has made a lot of terrible career choices, but that's quite sweet in its own way. Who would have picked little Matt to end up being the action star? |

A bloody good action star, too. The "Bourne" films rock my world.

I`m thinking it was more a case of Matt rather than the films rocking your world, Miss Zoe.
