I share your sense of jazziness on this issue Whitey, Futurama was cut down much too early in it's life and these movies may get it reinstated if they sell enough (it's a long shot but Fox only care about money so it's a possibility) and hopefully the plot will be a new one since they managed to sort-of resolve many of the plotlines with 'The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings'.

Unfortunately, this is essentially a prank. We're hoping a made-for-DVD project may get off the ground at some point, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
I'm merging this with the existing Futurama thread. |

The latest credible statement I've come across on this subject is from John DiMaggio (Bender), who says 'Looks like we're gonna do it. I haven't heard anything contract-wise or anything like that. So ... anything can happen. But once I sign my name on the dotted line, I'll be singing in the streets.' As far as I can tell the DVD looks like a strong possibility but has yet to be confirmed. In Futurama series 3 episode 6, Bendless Love, Bender Immitates Flexo by wearing a magnetic goatee. Should this not have set off his Inhibition Chip and made him start spewing country and western music like other magnets in the series
