If there is I'll be sure to post it. There isn't. Unless you count what's already been posted as news. One was only four days ago, I think that still counts.

From 'Amazon Women In The Mood'
"We no can dunk, but good fundamentals. That more fun to watch." "Oh God, you're killing me! Oh GOD! You're killing me!" <sexist male laughter> "Is she hot?" "That not important! She all knowing!" "In other words, no." <sexist male laughter> "Did you explain how the women's good fundamentals make up for their inability to dunk?" "Yes, the men still laughed." "The men must die!" |

QUOTE ("IGN") In the first of IGN's exclusive Video Blogs direct from San Diego's Comic-Con International, voice actor Billy West (Fry, Zoidberg, the Professor, and many more voices for many more shows) revealed to us that a brand-new direct-to-video Futurama movie has been greenlit. Not only that, but there is also an option for a second movie as well. From IGN. Don't get excited though. At the moment there are conflicting reports. Some say that David X Cohen has openly stated that the project isn't that far along yet (which is believable, a greenlight usually comes after a screenplay) but Matt Groening has been unoficially reported as confirming West's comments at a Comic Con signing. In any event I reckon it's safe to say that somebody somewhere is currently writing new Futurama. And I am 'jazzed' about it. |

I share your sense of jazziness on this issue Whitey, Futurama was cut down much too early in it's life and these movies may get it reinstated if they sell enough (it's a long shot but Fox only care about money so it's a possibility) and hopefully the plot will be a new one since they managed to sort-of resolve many of the plotlines with 'The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings'.
As Dr Z. would say ''Hurray!'' |

Unfortunately, this is essentially a prank. We're hoping a made-for-DVD project may get off the ground at some point, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
I'm merging this with the existing Futurama thread. |

I'm unclear on this, do you think the link you have posted is saying that the plot is bumkum - but the DVD is on - or it's all bumkum? It looks to be the former to me, although I'm not sure (and I know David "X" Cohan has been talking up a movie lately . . .). More Futurama must be a good thing though! |

The latest credible statement I've come across on this subject is from John DiMaggio (Bender), who says 'Looks like we're gonna do it. I haven't heard anything contract-wise or anything like that. So ... anything can happen. But once I sign my name on the dotted line, I'll be singing in the streets.' As far as I can tell the DVD looks like a strong possibility but has yet to be confirmed. As you say, David Cohen has also been talking up the movie, but he's been careful to avoid saying it's definitely going ahead. I'm going to treat the IMdB entry as speculative until I hear corroborating evidence from someone connected with the show. |

In Futurama series 3 episode 6, Bendless Love, Bender Immitates Flexo by wearing a magnetic goatee. Should this not have set off his Inhibition Chip and made him start spewing country and western music like other magnets in the series
