Many congratulations to Simon and Edgar for winning a 2004 Bram Stoker Award for their Shaun of the Dead screenplay. The Bram Stoker Awards are presented every year by the Horror Writers Association to recognise 'Superior Achievement' in horror writing; this year they were presented at the Hilton Burbank Hotel & Convention Center in Los Angeles on June 25.
Shaun of the Dead shares the screenplay award with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind after seeing off competition from Hellboy and the Dawn of the Dead remake.
