Oh yes, CSI has always been a favourite of mine. I loved the original Vegas and I think both Miami and New York work well too. But last night, what a double! I was very very excited to see Tarantino, my favourite director, take on his second television directorial role and the story was good too. I thought the little touches of Quentin were magic; the black and white morgue scene, the little dialogues between Nick and Warrick(sp) etc etc.

Good stuff.

Original CSI - top stuff

CSI Miami - CSI Lite. And take off those goddamn sunglasses and stop patronising everyone around you Horatio.

CSI New York - lost me very quickly.

Last night's was interesting. It was CSI and yet at the same time it wasn't. All the little dialogue scenes made it very Tarantino and much less CSI I thought. Which was ok up until the morgue scene. I hated that scene, absolutely hated it. It completely interrupted the pace of the episode and seemed too far out of what CSI is all about.

It was good though, and quite tense throughout. I was entertained but probably not as much as I thought I was going to be.

The thing that hit me the most about the Tarantino ep was that because i'd been watchin the show for so long i really felt for the characters, it was felt even more dramatic that any film because i'd know the characters for longer than 90 mins and i think that really made it easy to get me involved with nicks situation.

and what the hells happened to greg (the ex lab guy) he use to be really cool but now he's turning into a very dull character.
