The 'He-Man in another world' cartoon was just terrible in my opinion. It was probably the first time in my life that a hero of mine let me down.
Jinx
Jerry: Hi there, if you've just joined us, we're talking to Duncan, Teela and The Sorceress. Duncan is the captain of the guards at King Randor's palace, and his official title is 'Man-At-Arms'. Teela is his adopted daughter, and has only just found out that she was adopted and that the Sorceress is her mother. Teela what do you have to say to your parents?

Teela: I don’t have any parents, Jerry. Just a woman who abandoned me, and some guy who lied to me about who I was.

Duncan: Teela, I’m sorry. I just wanted what was best for you.

Audience: Awwwwwwwwwwwww!

Teela: You lied to me! I thought my mother died when I was born!! My whole life, I've been carrying this guilt inside, and it was all a lie!! It was all a BLEEPing lie!!!

Sorceress: Oh put a sock in it, you spoiled brat!!

Teela: You BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!!

Sorceress: BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!!

Audience:: JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!!

Jerry: Okay, everybody calm down! Calm down!

Teela: You better tell her, Jerry! I’ll knock the BEEP the BEEP out!!

Sorceress: Come on then, BEEP!! Show me what you got!!

Jerry: Why would you talk to your daughter like that, Sorceress?

Sorceress: She’s a spoiled little brat, Jerry! She doesn’t even deserve to know that her real father’s still alive!!

Duncan: He’s what? Who the hell is he, then??!!

Jerry: Can we bring out Fisto?

Duncan: BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!!

Fisto: BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!! BEEP!! BEEP BEEP!!!!

Jerry: We'll be right back after these messages.

Audience: JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!!

You not see the Dolph Lungerin flim then?

Jinx, that was proper quality reading, and I followed your link, it's only in the 2002 version that Fisto would be Teelas dad. But still, think of all the fun that could be had with the sorceros and her sexual friend 'Fisto'

Something wrong with that I'm sure

As a child I refused to believe that the movie He-Man was anything to do with the cartoon He-Man. I just fixed it in my mind that they were two men that happened to have the same name. Like my name. There are other people out there called Henry. Doesn't mean that they're me though.
I did the same thing for the live action Super Mario Brothers movie.
m0r1arty
I did it with Street Fighter.

But He-Man was awful, The first time I ever cringed was watching that with my mum.

(shakes body around like cold turkey type person)

Mind you, I did get to sing along with a whole conema full of other kids when I saw Ghostbusters for the first time (And I got a wimpy too!)

I know how you feel. I did that for the Matrix sequels. And the Highlander sequels. And the Crow sequels.

So, anyway, I found this. Teela's parentage:-

QUOTE (www.He-Man.org)
As revealed in the episode "Teela's Quest", Teela's mother is the Sorceress of Grayskull (Teela'na), and her father was a soldier that was slain in battle (likely during the Horde Invasion that took place approximately 20 years before the series). She was adopted as a baby by Man-At-Arms. Teela has no knowledge of her true parentage, although one day she will take over as Sorceress of Grayskull.

It also says that Skeletor is King Randor's brother!

WHAT
Henry Krinkle
QUOTE (www.he-man.org)
Skeletor is Keldor, Randor's long-lost brother. Before Randor was king, Keldor mysteriously disappeared while experimenting with magic. As revealed later by the writers, Keldor travelled back in time to become He-Ro's arch-villain, commanding the Imperium Serpentis (Snake Men). Eventually, the Ancients banished them.

Somehow, Keldor became Skeletor. Whether the Ancients caused him to have a slow death (one story) or he was permanently scarred by Etheramite (another), he eventually joined the Horde, becoming Hordak's apprentice and conquering Eternia's sister planet, Infinita. Or vice-versa. The story gets a little fuzzy here.

After Adam and Adora were born, during the Horde Invasion, Hordak left Skeletor on Eternia for his Etheramite betrayal. Though he was imprisoned, he escaped, and took over Snake Mountain, and began his power struggle to take over Eternia.

Buuuut, in the new He-Man they showed that Skeletor got that way when he threw some wierd liquid at King Randor in a battle, and Randor used a shield to deflect it back into Skeletors musketeer style face, making him go all skully. That's got to smart!

For the film to not rape my childhood memories.
m0r1arty
We all talking about the same movie here. Little ugly brut no-one had heard of, the Key, some KFC chicken; but everyones a veggie, crappy end battle scene. Dolf givin it "I have the power" in a really pisspoor way.

I mean, I knew nothing of actors, sets, storylines etc at that age, but I knew shite when I saw it. And that film stunk. Not nearly as uch as Hitchhikers guide, but still ALOT

And they could have at least made Skeletor look like a skull. I don't know what he looked like, but it wasn't a skull. More like a 3rd degree burns victim with manky teeth.

It should be great, but unfortunately the track record of cartoon/comics to big screen is sketchy at best!
m0r1arty
True, but I've read that they are gonna do it right,
