Hi e'body!

I tried to convert SPACED down onto my PSP memory card (half gig) last night from my DVD copies but DVDshrink doesn't seem to like it. Does anyone have a copy of converted files they'd be willing to pass on to me.

I don't think I'm screwing with any copyright here as I have the original discs but if I'm doing something dodgy please let me know.

.............Any news on SPACED being released on UMD?

I have succesfully copied a DVD onto my PSP, using DVD Decrypter to take it off the DVD and then PSP Video 9.0 to format it for the PSP. Both are freely available and there are a few sites out there with step by step instructions on how to do it. The only difficulty with SPACED might be that you would have to select each individual episode, rather than just grabbing one file for a whole movie. Also, the movie took up 530Mb, so you may only be able to fit 3 or 4 episodes on at a time.

When you put something onto the PSP it has to follow fairly strict formatting rules. It MUST be MP4 format, and you can use SP or AVC format (whatever that means) but AVC onlyl works if you;ve installed the 2.0 firmware upgrade. It must be correctly named, something like MAQ###### or M4P###### depending on aforementioned format, but PSP video 9.0 will take care of that, and it must be put in MP_ROOT and then a specially named folder, angain depending on the format. PSP Video 9 .0 should also take care of that.

If you need any more help, try going to your nearest Gamestation and looking for the OPS2 Special #20: PSP Guide, very useful.

I've found 3GP Converter to be easier and faster than PSP Video 9. Have a look over here for more info.
