Aside from my brother who introduced me to him, I haven't really met anyone who's knows and/or likes the guy.

Might remember him from Japan, one of the first New Romantic acts from the late 70's and writing Forbidden Colours with Ryuichi Sakamoto that was used for British Airways adverts for a while...

That aside, he writes some really interesting experimental music, ranging from loungey acoustic stuff to odd electronic ambience - Secrets Of The Beehive is one of my favourite albums to mong to ever.

Anyone else like him? huh.gif

I'll have to look into this - "Ghosts" is one of my all-time favourite songs. Cheers, inj.

That's one I haven't heard actually! tongue.gif

Orpheus is ace, as is Darkest Dreaming. Whatever I'm doing when these come on, I always find myself pausing to listen intently to them.

Looking around on Amazon, I've realised that I've looked at getting his solo stuff before but decided not to try it on the basis of having no money...

Ghosts by Japan, by the way.

Haven't heard much by Japan, but by the sound of things I do prefer his solo stuff.
