I just got in fro man English exam where I spent an hour writing a review on Shaun. The question asked to explain what happens at the beginning and how it plays out, which I thought was brilliant due to comedy, romance and horror angles of the film. It made me think, this probably isn't that hardcore, but what else have people done in the crazy name of Shaun devotion?

I thought all English exams were all based on novels, plays and poetry. Have they stretched to films nowadays? Have they done away with The Crucible, An Inspector Calls, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens etc etc etc ... ? Or am I well behind times?

No, I'm actually quite a happy individual, but writing like yours makes me quite upset.

PS. I'm allergic to bubble bath, so by suggesting the activity you effectively signed my death warrant, and that means you are a bad person.

I used SOTD in three separate film and media projects because it's such a crowd pleaser. People love it smile.gif

I did it in my genre deconstruction presentation, my iconography and mise-en-scene presentation, and my changing representations of masculinity within the British film industry presentation.

I used SOTD in my 'Comedy Films' presentation for English. Got 29 out of 32. Quite good, if I must say.
claire
I used it in my concept to consumption A-level media project and exam. I hope I did okay....
Got_red_on_you
I did a whole presentation on Shaun of the dead, I got an A for that.

I also have the SOTD tattoed ascross my back

Lucky!!!!

Every English paper I've ever done is read a gay story and say what you feel about.

But, when I used to have a journal for English, I wrote about Shaun in every passage. Got weird looks from the teacher until the end of the Semester.

A gay story?

I'm sure I could work up a Dickens pun if I was bothered to.
