I've been listening to BBC7 on line recently and discovered some comedy gems like "the museum of everything". Is anyone else an online radio listener? Do you any recomendations. I'd also like to recomend wfmu for music and talk.

"I don't know what you do in... Tokyo but round here it's no touchy-touchy, alright?"
"Allo darlin, fancy a knee-trembler? Oh, hello there - boys and girls, mums and dads. My name's Mary, I'm a streetwalker. That's an old-fashioned word for prostitute."
-Well, if it isn't beautiful Irish prostitute, Matthew Kelly.
-Um, it's Mary Kelly.
And of course:
Badgerland! Eat in the Badgertarian restaurant, relax in the badgacuzzi... Touch badgers!
That programme is a cult classic. I listen to Chris Moyles (never up in time to catch a whole programme), Jonathan Ross and most bits and bobs of comedy although they're mostly covering old ground and I heard it all last year. I also occasionally (very occasionally) try LSRfm.

I listen to Radio 4 when I'm trying to take my mind off what I'm doing (i.e. work or exercise) and lots of the listen again stuff on Radio 7 when I'm bored (The Twilight Zone and the Comedy Club are particular favourites). I listen to Ricky Gervais and Adam and Joe's XFM shows via the internet. On Saturday mornings I listen to Jonathan Ross and at home my stereo is tuned to Radio 4.
When I'm in a taxi I listen to Trent FM.
I can't listen to Radio 1 anymore because (since Mark and Lard left) everyone on that station is smug and talentless.
I loathe Chris Moyles, one because he's a despicable misogynist who enjoys nothing more than objectifying women and berating them for being even slightly overweight despite the fact he's a big fat cunt, and two because he's terminally unfunny.

He was quite amusing five years ago, but as you say is now becoming unbearably unfunny and somehow even louder than ever. The two things must be connected. I like Comedy Dave though, although he is turning into a smug bastard. I really used to enjoy Mark & Lard when they were on late night Radio1 about ten years ago but they were losing it before they moved to wherever they are now.
I don't listen to any radio these days. The odd podcast is all.

My favourite line so far has been "My hasban is a barren. No itle he's just incapable of providing me with children."
I've alsways hated the low level humour of chris moyles. He's just a fat and more loathesome Chris Evans.
Any chance of a link to the Adam and Joe online XFM broadcasts?

Ricky Gervais, Adam & Joe, Andrew Collings (w/Richard Herring), Jonathan Ross, and random things I come across on radio 4 like panel shows with Nicholas Parsons and the like.
Oh, and today Chain Reaction - cos it's the Bill Bailey/Simon Pegg one.
(Adam & Joe are on www.xfm.co.uk on Saturdays 1-3pm.)

I listen to Jonathan Ross and usually some XFM when I'm at work. Bit of Radio 4 for real news and sometimes Radio 2 if I'm feeling in a classic rock kind of mood.
There are no good radio stations in New York. Fact.

BBC6 and BBC7 but mainly Radio 4. I always have it on from six till seven when I'm cooking, so I catch the news and the comedy, which is nice.
Sometimes listen to it in the day too, strangley, womens hour is one of my favouirte shows. I check the website for good stuff like Dylan Thomas short stories or This Sceptered Isle, hate Gardners Question Time and The Archers, Although lately I 'ave mainly been listenin' too CD's in the day. Mostly it's the comedy in the 6:30Pm slot that I like.

Aah it's good to know he's doing well. It just seemed that in the last year or so that M&L were on Radio1, they were just being worn down by the idiots around them and having to playing songs they obviously despised (mostly by Sean Paul)
The skits got progressively less funny too.

Reminds me that Shock Video was pretty much the funniest thing ever on TV, and that was just Ad and Joe doing a voice over to some bad and slightly rude clips from world TV. That must be the cheapest show to make ever. Why not replace some of the unfunny filth on Channel 4 with that? 'The Friday Night Project' for example.

It's Joe's dead on impression of the echoing "mi-i-dget, mi-i-dget, mi-idget.." bit that slayed me.
Ad & Joe have been slotting in very nicely in the pre-Harry Shearer spot on my iPod for several weeks now.

The opening of #9 in the public pool is filthy and brilliant.

So are the street people I occasionally pass down Hollywood Blvd. if I stop off for a coffee on the way to work.

Speaking of iPod/iTunes, I really can't recommend Harry Shearer's
Le Show enough - since he's on here at 10 AM on Sundays when I'm still half-asleep, I'm tickled pink to get to listen to him whenever I want now.

should be available for download overseas, as I think it's only the for-sale content of iTunes that differs. (Hence, we get Adam & Joe, Gervais, etc.). Search KCRW podcasts.
He's actually in Edinburgh at the moment - go see his show if you're at the Fringe, you lucky bastards.
