Balls! Rachel and I were just discussing how excited we were to listen together!
Well, I'm excited for you guys anyway. Unfortunately the coverage of an exciting 2-0 win over Northampton took precedence.
Just watch the video for the show about 90 times, that'll fill 3 hours.

That's about 3 weeks now of not hearing her since I got my new radio alarm.

I must say, you and the Fischer both look very rosy-cheeked and giggly in your ad. Had you been at the sherry before you filmed it? And I bet it wasn't tea in those mugs...
You're still on the Listen Again recommended comedy bit as well. Hurrah!

On Gobstopper this week… (Wednesday 5th September)
It’s a sentimental reunion! Joining us live in the studio is Fischer’s old stamping partner – BBC Five Live and Look North’s own MARK “CLEM” CLEMMIT!
We’ll also talking to the writer of a new play that centres around the music of The Clash – it’s called “Meeting Joe Strummer” and he’s PAUL HODSON.
Our “Little Legend” of the week is boggly-eyed Tiswas presenter and singer with 70s chart-toppers Darts… DEN HEGARTY!
And we’ve live music… from ace Stockton singer-songwriter ANDY JONES (with the Stockton Male Voice Choir accompanying him!) and bizarre cheesy cabaret duo CARMEN AND DICK – showcasing songs from their rock opera “Thornaby!”
Plus all the usual cooler-than-school music, bizarre listener contributions and rambling nonsense.
Gobstopper with Bob Fischer (and Shack helping out), Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-10pm, on BBC Tees 95FM, DAB Digital Radio or online at www.bbc.co.uk/tees.

On Gobstopper tonight.......
We look ahead to the weekend’s crunch Middlesbrough v Sunderland match, as we welcome into the studio an agent of the enemy! Founding father of Sunderland fanzine “A Love Supreme” it’s football writer and journalist JEREMY ROBINSON… and yes, we’ll be putting him in a cage and pointing him with sharp sticks…
We’ve an exclusive acoustic session from a godfather of the American underground rock scene… playing tracks from his new album “And”, it’s the brilliant JONAH MATRANGA.
Our Little Legend of the week is the voice of Doctor Who’s robot dog K-9! We say “Affirmative, Master” and speak live to the mighty JOHN LEESON!
And our new reviewer IZZY ISGATE will be looking at the latest films and album releases.
Plus all the usual cooler-than-school music, bizarre listener contributions and rambling nonsense.

On Gobstopper this week… (Wednesday 3rd October)
We go sweetie mad! We’re desperate to find Gobstopper listeners’ favourite sweets from past and present, and to celebrate we’re joined in the studio by a confectionary connoisseur – owner of Masham’s world-famous “Bah Humbug” sweet shop – it’s LUCY SCOTT PAUL! (And e-mail your sweetie faves to gobstopper@bbc.co.uk)
We’re also chatting a comedian so damn funny that – last month – he won the prestigious Perrier Award! He’s bringing his unbelievably controversial new show to Saltburn Theatre… he’s acerbic Australian BRENDON BURNS.
Plus we’ve live music in the studio from excellent North-Eastern singer-songwriter PAUL LIDDELL.
All that plus the usual cooler-than-school music, bizarre listener contributions and rambling nonsense.

On Gobstopper tonight… (Wednesday 10th October)
It’s Gobstopper’s annual “Conker Bonkers” night! We bring our prize oven baked 39-ers into the studio for a few rounds, and speak live to the organiser of this weekend’s World Conker Championships – PETE MORRIS.
We’ve live music, with an exclusive acoustic session and interview with the lead singer of Welsh indie giants Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci (pronounced Gorky’s Psychotic Monkey!) – he’s EUROS CHILDS!
We look at the form of our three local football teams as the Evening Gazette’s controversial columnist ANTHONY VICKERS wanders into the studio.
And our “Little Legends” feature reunites two giants of Saturday morning TV – we speak live to TREVOR AND SIMON!

From the fair hand of Bob Fischer:
On Gobstopper tonight:
What are your memories of fairs? That's what we're asking tonight on Gobstopper, to celebrate the arrival in town of Yarm Fair, when our beautiful historic High Street is transformed into a riot of light, noise, music, whirling waltzers, dare-devil white knuckle rides and limited parking opportunities.
So what are the best/worst fairground experiences you've had? The best and/or scariest rides? The worst candy floss? The stickiest toffee apples? The most inaccurate or spookily true fortune telling? Or the most intriguing urban myth... eg "That's the ride that kid that whatisface knew went on, and the cage flew off and he landed on a badger and died and lost his leg". That kind of thing.
Send 'em all to gobstopper@bbc.co.uk and we'll read them out tonight! You lovely people.
Guests tonight include bonkers Geordie psychedelic band Maybe Myrtle Turtle, Boro FC spokesman Dave Allan, spiffy Belfast singer-songwriter Andy White (he's written with Peter Gabriel, you know) and our new reviewer Izzy Isgate pulling the new Radiohead album to bits.
Shack is in too, but he doesn't go on fairground rides because he's an oversized female's shirt. Are you braver or less brave than him?
Gobstopper tonight, BBC Tees, 95FM or online at www.bbc.co.uk/tees, 7-10pm. The louder you scream...
