Ain't it Cool was suggesting that it'd be a fat suit sorta thing, but I think they've got the wrong end of the stick. It doesn't sound at all like its an obese man, probably just someone with a bit of a belly.

I was kind of hoping he would anyway; he looks better with a little meat on his bones.

And I'm shocked at how few of the articles are mentioning the fact that Michael Ian Black (Stella, The State, Wet Hot American Summer, etc.) wrote it. That's hugely in its favor...

Well Michael Ian Black starred in "The Baxter" with the rest of the Stella crew. That was also about leaving people at the altar...but thats about the extent of similarities.

Actually it was Michael Showalter who was the star and writer of the baxter, michael ian black just played one of his friends although they were both in stella and the state and are both extremely talented.

Saw that teaser trailer before Hot Fuzz last night. Looks pretty promising.

Very funny.

The everso slightly odd thing about this, in visual terms, is Simon was cast for this around the time he did M:I3 & Big Nothing - when he was a bit more heavy set. But he filmed Hot Fuzz - for which he shed 2 stone for - before doing this, so he looks too fit and lean to even be considered a 'fatboy'. It looks like it's a funny script but I'm wondering how Simon's obvious fitness from the start will play on screen.

Aw, no you're not! I, on the other hand....

Anyway, I wouldn't say that Simon was ever "fat", but he was carrying a bit extra for a while there. (But he was still gorgeous, imo). Now, if he lost about 2 stone, that means he lost around 12-13 kilos! That's quite a lot! And he does look extremely hot now.

I'm sure Simon was never fat. He does look very trim and toned in HF though.
I lost 12kgs once. A few years ago now. I think I've put it all back on again unfortunately.
Kept it off for a while though. The picture in my profile is taken just after I lost the weight.
I like to keep that photo and pretend to myself that I still look like that

We used to buy a flavour of dip called "Lentils Morocco" which always sounded like a character name to me, and always made us laugh.

Plus it always reminded me of Morocco Mole too.

I still haven't seen Transformers. Looking forward to Stardust though. Looks interesting. But I'm looking forward to Run Fatboy Run more. (see! on topic!)

Infact I was looking on the net half an hour ago and saw the exact same ones.

I think it's only in front of Transformers in the UK at Cineworld cinemas. I saw Transformers again today and got to see the trailer for a second time.

Oooo ... I'll be seeing Transformers at a Vue cinema on Wednesday night so shall look out for that!
