That's fantastic, but no way in hell am I paying the kind of cash being asked for an HD-DVD player. Stupid feuding studios.

Edit: Perhaps duelling studios makes more sense.

will this even matter?
as in was SOTD shot in HD? cause if it wasn't its a bit like putting an ipod nano in a 42" box if they released it on HD DVD?

or am i wrong will it still be better quality?

Forget Shaun; that list also promises the first season of Battlestar Galactica, and Brazil, on HD DVD.

Well, Shaun would be grand, too.

im guessing it would look good. even if it wasnt originally recorded in HD. youd be getting quality close to/the same as that of cinema projections.

It would be better quality, since feature film are usually shot on 35mm film, not digital camera. And film has a native very high resolution even if it's analogic. So there would be an improvement smile.gif

EDIT: wow this was old excl.gif I forgot I was reading in past threads tongue.gif
