That one with the little kids in the band (I think its for a Tesco voucher promotion), where the little kid belts out 'Wild Thing' at the top of his voice coz they don't have enough vouchers for a microphone. That always makes me smile

What exactly is in cat milk that makes it differ from regular milk?
Also the new Jenny Eclair salt 'full of it' ads are creepy, especially with that tinny little voice.

I saw an advert for Norton Finance last night where they interviewed "real people" in the street and it was shot in Leeds.
I got a bit too excited.
I wasn't in the background so I soon calmed down.

Well it's cat milk.....you know, milk from cats. There's a whole farm devoted to it on Dartmoor.

I have just noticed that they have changed the National Helpline Direct advert.
It has exactly the same plot (woman tripping over some plastic ties they use for wrapping boxes then suing the world for her stupidity), however what once was a stocky woman with a puffy face, is now a more slender and attractive woman.
I can see no reason for this change except that focus groups care less about injuries to people they would not doink, boo hiss.

Nikki from Big Brother advertising pizza.

The Clearasil 'Big brother...' ads are annoying, if only because they are so poorly dubbed.

Lately we seem to get a lot of American ads which have been dubbed with Australian voices.
It's really stupid because they always look so American anyway.
Plus the voices never seem quite right with the faces.
Really people!
Either make your own ads or just leave the American voices in!

I've just got back from the cinema (went to see 300) and just have to say how much I hate sitting through that freaking awful Odeon advert where everyone disappears......yes, Odeon we've all seen it now....mulitple times!...... we know its not actually a film trailer, it wasn't even good the first time!
The only thing good about it is the fact that it has the Pete Rodriguez "I like it like that" song in it....albeit briefly!............New ad please Odeon!!!!.......(but keep the tune!)

What is 'Brand Power' and who are they to tell me how to 'buy better'.
They just told me to buy Nescafe Cappuccino, which is a bad purchase on every conceivable level; poor ethical decision, disgusting frothy coffee from powder.

Both feature lovely curvy non-stick thin women, and they look bloody ruddy gorgeous.

They're fucking awful, though my problem is more to do with listing prominent pyschologists alongside a shoemaker. It reeks of poncy advertising executives thinking they're beening clever by being so flippant.
Also currently on my hate list - Sensodyne. It's another of those rubbish "one expert in front of a camera telling it how it is" type adverts I hate so. Irritating woman, irritatingly pointless camera angles, a close shot of the eyes and the it's over. Crap from start to finish.
