What is this? Just the same DVD with a new ugly boxart?

Does it matter to the completist?

And I'd bet dollars to donuts it is simply the same DVD with a new cover slapped on.

It matters if there's something new on it.

I think it's just a cheapo version of it, like a release.
I can't think of another name, but it's like the PlayStation Platinum or GameCube Players Choice range.

id bet there is or will be a lot of classic British movies re-released with that same box with the Truebrit down the side, except with the respective box art in the middle.

Looking on Play.com there are a number of titles in the True Brit range, so it looks like it's just a marketing exercise.
I can't find Shaun of the Dead on Play or Amazon though to confirm if there are any differences from the original release.

There probably isn't anything different in it.

Truebrit releases budget versions of films. There's nothing new on it. I'd wager there's actually less, if anything.

Those TrueBrit releases have been kicking around for a year or so - I was under the impression that they were the same copies of the movie, but with a garish slip-case.
Nick & I used the phrase "Malibu Stacey's got a new hat" in such situations...
