Mixed feelings so far. Overjoyed that Bale is involved, and always wanted a movie set in the time of John Connor as a soldier, but McG's helming could lead it astray, but then again, maybe he's more suited to something big budget like Terminator than he was for McSpaced.
Either way:
Bale 'to make three Terminators'

Apparently Josh Brolin's been cast as a terminator in the film. I'm always in favour of more Brolin in films.
Anton Yelchin is also meant to be playing Kyle Reese. Not so sure about that one.

Plot synopsis:
QUOTE
In the highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

It is 14 years after the start of the Nuclear war (the one that begins at the end of T3), I'd say that's enough time for everything to have kicked off big time.

Thing is he does sound really fucking upset about it, I mean in his voice not just that he's shouting and swearing. I get why he's pissed even if it is well extreme and over the top and he sounds like a silly. It does sound like the second time the guys fucked up a scene for Bale.

It's a great apology, though it's certainly not as needed as many believe. His explanantion of what happened sheds a lot of light on it, as he says, no one was there, and when an actor is in that kind of headspace (ie. trying to emulate the sarah connor craziness in a particular scene) it's dificult to get out of it.
