I'm really interested in how that will turn out. I understand Will & Grace and similar three-camera sitcoms doing live episodes since it's just a heightened version of what they go through with any recording, but a single-camera sitcom would be really complex to do as a live show. Unless they abandon the usual style and format for one that's easier to do live.

And, as is traditional in such polls, the moment when Del Boy fell through a bar hatch in Only Fools And Horses was named the greatest TV comedy moment, with 41 per cent of the vote.

!!!!!!

Not surprising. Stupid voters.

3000 respondents to an online survey? I could get more hits than that setting up a website asking people to name their favourite type of bacon.

Democracy favours the stupid once more.

I'd like to get in on that. I'll even help you out by giving you the first vote.

I vote you Kevin.

Reported from The Sun though....
NiteFall
Yes, the Sun does seem to be slightly less accurate than "I heard it from some bloke in the pub" when it comes to their reporting.

Hadn't seen that.
maian
It's been rumoured for a while, so they're probably just reporting the rumour as fact.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about him in the role. He might be a good foil for Downey Jr., but he could just as easily be too intense for a light-hearted film. He doesn't really do levity.

I think that's the reason why I want him to be in it. It'd be interesting to see him in this kind of film. Just hope he doesn't end up like De Niro.
maian
I've no doubt that it'd be interesting to see him try, but it could hurt the film if Ritchie can't rein him in. Having said that, I'm not sure who I'd prefer in the role, since he suits the character of Moriarty very well.

The Stath? "Knock it on the head, Sherlock, you sausage nigel".
Serafina_Pekkala
Ghosts of St Petersburg.
sweetbutinsane
Those are incredible.
Sostie
I can't find a link to the picture anywhere, but the UK press ads for the film "Cyrus" begs the question "is Jonah Hill shaking his fist at John C Reilly or giving him a much more English hand gesture?"
monkeyman
Lethal Weapon is on. Mel Gibson used to be cool sad.gif

I do love this series
maian
I find imagining that Riggs is thinking, ''I'm going to put you under my fucking rosebushes'' whenever he gets into a fight really improves the film.

EMI suffer a sense of humour failure.

It took seven people to write that song? Seven?!
It's just a load of cliches and facts about New York strung together, how does that take seven people?
Sostie
It seems David Cross' London based sit-com The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret has been comissioned.

Well I assume it has, as it's been announced that Johnny Marr is composing the theme

As fish out of water farces go I thought the pilot was quite good.
Llama
I quite liked it too, be interesting to see how it does as a full series.
