New Who companion, Amy Pond, is a kissogram.

The Daily Mail will love that . . .

I thought her skirt was suspiciously short, it all makes sense now.

Kissogram/Hen Night was actually my first thought* when I saw her in costume.

*Well, possibly not my first thought . . .
Everlong
Yeah, Hen Night was what I thought too, as there were pics somewhere of her boyfriend (in the show) wearing a T-shirt that had their faces on, which made me think 'Stag Night' or something similar. Didn't occur to me she was a Kissogram or something like that

Oh, I don't know. A twin sister wouldn't be too bad.

With a Captain Jack-style attitude to sexuality.

Awesome news.

And of course, a man touted by many as the 9th Doctor, before Eccleston was announced.
Raven
Anyone want to own the Torchwood SUV?

Interesting selection of Who related memorabilia going under the hammer.

Ace's Jacket is up for grabs, Zoe!

I want Astrid's costume from Voyage of the Damned, just for those boots. Wow.

Titles for the first three episodes of series 1/5/31:

5.1: The Eleventh Hour
5.2: The Beast Below
5.3: Victory of the Daleks

I like the third one, very old school!

Nice to see a return of the old school "of the Daleks" kind of title.

The title of episode 1 is quite good and apt too.

We have had Evolution of the Daleks, but that wasn't in quite the same vein as Revelation, Resurrection and Remembrance!

Ah true. I tend to try and forget those 2 episodes though (Manhattan and Evolution).
Raven
I don't blame you!
Everlong
Scenes at Stonehenge!
Raven
That was on the local news this evening - complete non-story as they didn't even show Matt Smith or any of the rest of the cast!

Just realised, that means series 6 has probably got the green light, sweet.
Everlong
List of all 13 episode titles from DS Forum (quite possibly fake)...

1. The Eleventh Hour
2. The Beast Below
3. Victory of the Daleks
4. Time of Angels (1)
5. Flesh and Stone (2)
6. Running Cold
7. Vampires of Venice
8. Measuring Danger (1)
9. The Fifth Stage (2)
10. The Painted World
11. The Prodigal
12. Nightmares Reign (1)
13. Sanctuaries (2)
Raven

I quite like 'The Painted World' which is probably the rumoured Van Gogh episode with Bill Nighy.

Plus I'm sure Nightmares Reign was the rumoured/working title for End of time part 1, before they decided on a Part 1/Part 2 title.

I know the first 3 on that list are official though, which you posted before.

Received this via email, one for the budding writers..

Write for Big Finish!

Apparently open to people who have never written for Big Finish, first time writers too.

Do I? I'd love to do that but have never written anything Sci-Fi before.

Ooh, interesting. I've had a couple of Doctor Who story ideas float around in my head recently. Might give this a whirl.

Holy crap.

I would like that more than is normal. I've wanted that jacket since I was eight years old.

I've not written Fan Fiction before, would be fun, even as just a writing exercise.

My ideas aren't Doctor Who related but I could well think of something a bit Doctor Who-like, and splice the ideas!
Zoe
How about he... wait for it... GOES BACK IN TIME?!

I think I will win.

Set it in Cardiff, and you'll probably get a series out of it.
Zoe
I will not set it in Cardiff, but make sure it can still be filmed in Cardiff with minimal set dressing.

WINNER!
Everlong
Cardiff.... Pretending to be London!
NiteFall
Will there be a gay character?
Zoe
2 gays (one of each sort) and one bi.

WINNER!

That's the second call for unsolicited submissions Big Finish have made recently (the last one was for a Fifth Doctor/Nyssa story and they wanted a story outline and a page or two of script).

Thinking cap on again. Should be able to come up with something in time!
Everlong
Actually realised I have written Sci-Fi sort of thing, but that was for an assignment back in college 7/8 years ago. Nothing that could be Doctor Who though.

No harm in trying to write something though, might be enjoyable.
curtinparloe
Think I'll give that one a go...

"Once upon a time, Doctor Who was mending the TARDIS..."

I do quite like the 'you douche'-like sentiment when saying how you can enter if you don't have access to the internet at home.

No home internet? Ask a frie...oh, not got that either. Internet cafe it is...loser.

They even pretended it was New York once, ha.

Cardiff - transformed into any City.

I still have no idea what I'm going to write. It's only a short story though so won't need to pad it out.

Only thing missing is a storyline. Like, only the most important thing in the story.
Zoe
That never stopped RTD!

WAHEY!
Everlong
You do have a point!

It was like, minimal story, maximum WTF.

I might write a cackhanded Sixth Doctor story in the style of RTD. It's a surefire hit.

Spotted this in the clearance section at WHSmiths this morning...

I got it as it was only £5. Thought it was worth having as a structure reference point as the stories are about the same length the competition asks for.

Plus I like the pictures.
Raven
Silurians to return link here. I suspect Neve McIntosh might be getting a roasting for letting that one slip . . .
Everlong
I saw that in the paper this morning. They'd been so good at keeping spoilers contained this time too!
Raven
I think if you look on the right sites you can find a lot more spoilers than are generally circulating, but I try to steer clear of them.

I suspect the above is an unintentional slip, I can't imaging they chose to release this information in this manner, but who knows?!

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I have been listening to the Radio Free Skaro podcast over the last few months and if you like Doctor Who I can heartily recommend it. They cover both old and new Who, and although they know a lot of detail about the series, they have a sense of humour as well, so it doesn't get too heavy.

Nice, shall check the latest episode when I get in.

As for spoilers, there was a website called Outpost Gallifrey (think it's called something else now) that always had a lot of spoilers, and I stopped going on there because the spoilers were a bit difficult to avoid.
Raven
It's Gallifrey base now, and most of their spoilers are hidden behind tags (on the news page, their forum is probably still a mine field!).

The latest episode of Radio Free Skaro is a commentary on the first part of The End of Time, it's quite entertaining!

Is it the same as what's on the specials boxset or a new one?
