True True. I wasn't bemoaning it, it sounds good. I just shrugged it off as a rumour, i didn't think they'd go there. But should be decent.
I quite like the sound of the last ep 'Journey's end'

Maaaaaybe it's the explanation as to why The Doctor always picks up a companion; pursuades them to join him. Along with the obvious bit of company he has them to remind him of his daughter/granddaughter.

Mr & Mr Tennent-PeggDavid and Simon had their civil partnership ceremony yesterday at Langtons registery office, Hornchurch, with friends and family looking on. Simon, 38, said, "It's been a wonderful day and I'm looking forward to the future with David." His new 'husband' David, 37, grinned beside him in agreement. "It's been great," he said, holding Simon close. "Next week we'll be getting matching tattoos."
The happy couple then partied the night away with guests at a private party before jetting off on their honeymoon. Oh come on, it does though, doesn't it?

I saw Human Nature and Family of Blood for first time the other day. I found it a lot more moving than expected - surprisingly so. Jessica was bloody amazing and a dead ringer for my gran (looks, age, era) so that added to the emotion for me. That and I needed some sugar intake or something.
Although some of it was a bit 'Tommyknockers' - green glow, woodland possession, mind reading etc.
I realised my problem is with Martha wiv 'ere shrill voice, pleather bomber jackets and Collection 2000 blusher. And her lack of acting ability. Even the child demon was more convincing than her. I realise this may be revisiting old arguments but I thought I'd say so. She is well rubbish.

I thought that was a pretty good episode. A whole lot better than the Christmas Special and it was actually quite surprising seeing Rose back so soon, I was expecting them to leave it until later to have her appear, though I have no doubt that she won't become central until later in the series.
Next week's looks like fun, even if Peter Capaldi seems to be just playing a similiar character to the one he played in Neverwhere.
Edit: Zoe, I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

The SF story was pretty lame (no surprises from RTD), but the episode as a whole was very enjoyable. I really like the dynamic between Donna and the Doctor.

Loved parts of it - particularly the mimed scene and the scenes with Bernard Cribbins. Overall I thought it was a very good opening episode.
My one gripe is using the same office/plant room location as in The Runaway Bride.
