Really? There isn't a lot of information on that site, no company details, and the list of festivals is located elsewhere. Annoying if it's true, I just bought a festival ticket.
The whois listing says the site owner is someone from www.area52.ie, an Ireland based innovation/think-tank group affiliated with Dublin University. Perhaps it's an experiment type thing? See how many people sign up.
