The link doesn't work but the trailer is the most exciting since the one for Drag Me To Hell. I hope this is fun and is more Planet Terror meets The Mist than The Prophecy meets Constantine.

Cool. And I shall now try and forget everything I just saw so as not to ruin the whole film come January.

And so it seems has Steve Austin! There's going to be so much testosterone seeping from the screen female audience members will grow cocks watching it.

And in related news. Filming in London Blitz. Cop tracks down serial killer who only targets police officers. Starring The Stath, Aidan Gillen, David Morrissey and Paddy Considine. Paddy & The Stath!

Doesn't it. The Prophecy* meets Assault On Precinct 13. And Paul Bettany. Looks great.

Looked up the director. Seems his next film, Priest, features Paul Bettany as a priest kicking vampire ass!

* The Prophecy is such a great film, I really fancy awtching it again. I have the box set. Anyone seen the sequels? Worth watching?

If anyone is interested in the forthcoming adaptation of Kick-Ass (the 3rd best comic at the moment) there's a dodgy cam recording of the trailer from Comic Con doing the rounds

My bet is on "The Boys" and "The Walking Dead." Not sure which order but I'm going to say Walking Dead as number one.

Looks fun, has a good cast and a slightly mean sense of humour. I sense a similar approach to Black Sheep, which I loved.

Out in October.

Inception teaser

Well, doesn't show much, but it certainly looks intriguing. Plus, I didn't realise until the credits came up at the end that it's got Tom Hardy in it! Ace.

What's that film actually going to be about?

I saw her on Britain's Got Talent, but that's all. How come she's become a big sensation?

It can't all be based solely on the whole "she looks like she's going to be shit - but she's actually pretty good!" thing they had on her audition, can it?

A stupid bawbag of a story.

People in the press say very mean things about her. I don't like it. She just looks like a normal woman. Brooker was right.

The sequel will continue the story of Sarah who, as the only known survivor of an all-female caving expedition gone horrifically wrong, suffers severe psychological trauma. She accompanies a rescue team back to the cave but events once again take a sinister turn.

Jude looks like some sort of Serbian gigolo.

The film looks ace. Tom Waits as the devil strikes me as the most perfect casting ever.

^I was just saying that about Tom Waits the other day. His voice has the perfect demonic tone to it.

I saw the trailer for Martin Scorcese's new film, Shutter Island, before Inglourious Basterds last night.

The reason I'm not re-posting it here is because, although it shows off how eerie the film looks, it certainly seems to have captured the ''police procedural meets the Bronte Sisters'' feel of Dennis Lehane's book, it also gives away the film's big twist. Admittedly it doesn't reveal the reason behind it, so it's not completely terrible, but if you want to view the film reasonably unspoiled, avoid the trailer like the plague.

Also, new Nightmare on Elm Street film? Hmmm...

Now I'm older, I'm not an especially ardent fan of horror flicks, and as cheesy as the original Nightmare may look now, it had quite a profound effect on me at the time of its release in 1984.

I anticipate good things from the few brief snippets I've read about the remake - not only was I interested to note that Clancy Brown is on the cast, but I was all the more buzzed by the casting of Jackie Earle 'Rorschach' Haley as Freddie Krueger. With hints that a more pseudo-pschological flick is on the cards rather than the camp comic horror cheese of the original series, I'm really kinda looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Technically, no, though it's a pretty weak technicality. The original ends with Sarah sitting in the caves, hallucinating as the sound of the Crawlers grows near. We assume that she dies because, well, it's pretty fucking hopeless, but it could be argued that she doesn't because we don't see her die. I imagine that the sequel will just follow the American ending, though, as it's much neater.

The first Krueger film I ever watched was New Nightmare when I was 10 and I loved it; I have only seena handful of the others. I hope it does end up being good.

Joseph Gordon Levitt. Although even in this he'll never be sexier than he is in that bit where he gets raped in Mysterious Skin.

Also The Full Monty and Fern Gully - The Last Rainforest in Geography; Pearl Harbor, Dances with Wolves & Ben Hur (but none all the way through) in History.
