Trailer for Jackboots on Whitehall.
PrincessKate
I'm excited about it, but didn't actually realise it was so... Action Man + Barbie-esque, I thought it would be a bit more Team America.
GundamGuy_UK
It looks like Robot Chicken Does WW2.
melzilla
I do like the look of that.

From the makers of Dead Snow comes Norwegian Ninja

Brilliant!

Anyway - I don't know whether to believe that Tennants and McLovin are in a remake of Fright Night. Before you get your glands all waxed thinking that His Lankiness is playing a sexy vampire in a jumper - he is being the butler. Even i think that is shit casting because if anyone gets the Chris Sarandon vibe, it's David. Colin 'works on the fair' Farrell is the vampire. He seems a bit 'earthy' for this role.

haha - vampire joke and a class-based slur. One Stone.

This probably won't happen but would make an awesome comic sketch.
Everlong
Seems to be confirmed, or at least the rumour is gaining credibility

Though it seems they've adapted the role for Tennant a bit.

Could be really crap. Guess it depends on the tone. I'd like it to be tongue-in-cheek.

Not sure how it'd work, he was great in Tropic Thunder, but a whole movie?

If Tom Cruise wanted to invade Russia, it would be done.
dandan
i'd quite like russia to invade tom cruise. maybe with nano-bots... that would be fun...

any hoo... 'kung fu panda 2 - the kaboom of doom' is shaping up to have a cast as good as the first one... everyone seems to be returning and gary oldman, michelle yeoh and jean-claude van damme have joined their ranks. woo!!! i just hope it's as enjoyable as the first film...
maian
And Charlie Kaufman is punching up the script at the moment. Not sure how much of his work will make it onto the screen, but I hope that there is at least one narcissistic doppelganger.

I've not yet seen Kung Fu Panda 1, but this sounds an excellent melding.

Again, not movie news but another production still from the Walking Dead TV series. Pretty sure it's the zombie near the bike that Rick takes in the first issue and fuck me it looks awesome.

Genuinely creepifying.

I agree with where that zombie probably comes in. That cell was the moment the comic really grabbed me actually. I'm going to wait until volume 12 comes out at the end of the month and re-read the whole series. It'll be the third time I've done that now as I seem to save up volumes and read them in one go. I'll be having some interesting dreams that week!

Trailer for Sofia Coppola's new film, Rich Folks Be Ennui-in'*

Red band trailer for Centurion Judging the trailer on its own merits this doesn't look like something I would normally like but being a Neil Marshall film does give me hope.

Didn't that come out ages ago?

Trailer for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

I was confused for a moment, wondering where Jill Pole was. then I remembered that was the Silver Chair.

It all looks too overblown to me, I think the BBC adaptations hold too warm and squishy a place in my heart. (Reepicheep will always be Sylvester Mccoy's voice over Warwick Davis in a mouse costume. Always.

I'm really looking forward to that. I don't always like Lars' films, but they're never less than interesting and he's got a hell of cast for that one.

Is this the follow-up to Dogville and Manderlay, or did that 'trilogy' idea fizzle out?

Either way, that really is an excellent cast.

No, the "America" trilogy seems to have fallen by the wayside at this point. Melancholia is a sci-fi film about the death of the planet and how different people react to it.
Ade
Cool, sounds interesting. I guess I should have realised it wasn't part of the "America" trilogy though, what with it not having a 'place name' sort of title. Stupid Ade.

Stupade.

It most certainly is. And the film promises to be 'romantic' and also be a 'disaster movie'. From LVT - this intrigues me. I don't know what that man will do next.

In more walking dead news I found out FX will be showing it in the UK in October (I'll no doubt get hold of it before then but it's still awesome news). The first 6 hour long episodes are going to cover the first two volumes. I am so looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to this too. I started reading it ages ago and somehow got busy and side-tracked, but I've just picked it up again at volume 5. The production stills definitely look cool.

Trailer for Let Me In

Even though I didn't think a remake was necessary to begin with, it's a bit disappointing that they've stuck so closely to the look of the original. You might as well just see Let The Right One In if they're going to follow the blueprint so closely.

It isn't.

Brits should start remaking stuff from Hollywood as protest. Mrs B and I were discussing this the other day. UK True Blood - set in Devon and with Sookie Stackhouse as a psychic bar maid.
Starscream`s Ghost
I'm convinced they only remake foreign language movies because there are people out there who won't see a film if it's subtitled. Or foreign.

Both "amazing".

There's The Room:

Roof top scene

with the greatest scene from a flower shop ever...

Flower Shop

And then there is:
