Michel Gondry to direct The Green Hornet

Gondry, Rogen, Chow...This one just gets weirder and more interesting as time goes on.

As much as I love Gondry, I would have welcomed Chow behind the camera more. Still, we'll have him as Kato.

I'm now excited by this.

Green Street Hooligans 2: Stand your Ground
What is more preposterous? The fact that someone thought a sequel to Green Street (aka Hooligans) was needed? The idea that rival West Ham and Millwall gangs would be put in the same prison? The idea that they play a football match to earn early release? The idea that for some reason they are in an American prison??

Dead Snow
Norwegian Nazi zombie film! Apparentley went down a storm at Sundance

And sticking with Scandinavian horror. The trailer for one of, if not the best, vampire films ever Let the Right One In. UK release April 10. Got a five star rating in Empire...sometimes they get it right.

I'd agree with that.

Not watched the trailer but the zombie thing better be good. I'm getting a bit sick of the same zombie schtick churned out over and over. [/rant]

The production company that made this (and who also made This Is England and Dead Man's Shoes) work in my building. They're lovely people and I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

The book of this keeps tempting me whenever I go into Waterstones, would you recommend it or should I wait until I've seen the film.

Film first, then you get a few nice little surprises. Book first and you may be disappointed by what the film leaves out.

Why a remake and why Knightley in the title role?

Bronson Trailer

Can't say I have much affection for the man, but the film looks very promising. Makes me want to watch Chopper again.

I just saw this the other day. Tom Hardy - who'da thunk.

As for Chopper versus Bronson - only one way to find out .... FIGHT!!!

I only just saw the Inglorious Basterds trailer - I am far more interested in the wee girls story than Brad Pitt's moustache and Eli Roth's smirky face. Hopefully it will be good like Cross of Iron is good without too much gibber and tricksy.

Wahlberg for the man. TC will be Ice Cube. Rick will be Alan Tudyk. Higgins will be Pierce Brosnan.

Prof Higgins may be Rupert Everett but Firth seems likely. Keira would a dreadful Eliza - she can't do 'common' at all. Emily Blunt would be better I suppose. As long as it's not fucking Portman.

I'd like to see Samantha Morton in a version of GBS's Pygmalion instead - with someone like Ciaran Hinds as Higgins and Julian Fellowes as Pickering. A realistic Mike Leigh style period costume drama. BBC Xmas time. I should really work on an adaptation myself.

Mickey Rourke
Sylvester Stallone
Jason Statham
Forest Whitaker
Sandra Bullock (rumored)
Jet Li
Dolph Lundgren
Robert Knepper (rumored)

(Info taken from IMDB)

And add to that...

Eric Roberts
Ben Kingsley (rumored)
Danny Trejo (rumored)
David Zayas (Dexter's Angel)

Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's a cameo, but Arnie has confirmed it

Trailers for Wolverine and Star Trek looked bloody good last night, prior to Watchmen.

The Fast The Furious latest sequel less so.

And Horne & Corden's Lesbian Vampire Thingy looks shockingly shite. I wish someone would tell them that they aren't Pegg & Frost.
