I'm working on a little film project and I've gotta find 5 pieces of popular music to use as theme music for particular scenes. It's not like there's a lack of material out there, it's deciding the best bits and I'm sure I don't want to miss any really good ones.
The scenes I'm left with are as follows:
Going on Holiday:
Getting caught by the police:
Interview down the station:
Court trial:
Going Home:

If anyone writes Caught By The Fuzz for the second one, they should just shoot themselves now.
That is all.

And just so if anyone writes Summer Holiday for the first they should do something more painful than being shot, to themselves now.

What mood do you want to strike with the 'Going home' section? If it's 'going home feeling quite smug about having got out of jail' I'd go with 'Jackie' by Scott Walker. It's got the perfect balance of pomp and undeserved feeling of greatness.
Could also work during the trial.

For the holiday, how about Fantastic Day by Haircut 100.
