I found this site, anyone know what it's all about?

I am mildly intrigued, but not enough to actually register.

I just want to know what I'm registering for.

After a bit more research I've gathered that it's a bit similar to our very own Spaced Out meets.

Forumites the world over gather to talk about shared interests... Or something.

I guess that would explain the video - everybody is "missing" because they have met up to chat.

I'd give it a miss then.

Hey, Im glad your all interested in bongal.com. Yes it is a social media site but very different than the traditional sites you will all have seen and probably use.

When you sign up to bongal.com (launches 15.02.10), (minisite going live 25.01.10), you will be asked a couple of quesitons about your interests. From then on bongal can make recommendations to you on both other users as well as groups, promotions, and events you may be interested in.

Each of the groups has its own forum area where users can blog, chat and post anything they desire relating to their interests. As the new groups are set up they will be presented to users who may be interested in joining and interacting with them.

The browzing on bongal is a fantastic feature using a combination of an interactive map and some high end programming we have invented something totally new. You will love it.
