Simon and Edgar will be interviewed on The Movie Show on SBS here in Australia about Shaun of the Dead. Screening on Wednesday 6th October at 8pm.

Hooray - i'll have to watch that one! I don't watch *that* movie show but i guess i'll have to make an exception now! What happened, did Margaret and David snub them?

Margaret and David will be reviewing SOTD on Thursday night, ABC 9:30 but don't know if they have done any interviews. I still watch Margaret and David, but I admit I do like the new movie show on SBS.

Yeah, Margaret will love it. But I'll be really interested to see what David says about it. Now that I'm thinking about it, I remember one of the reviewers on the new SBS movie show say weeks ago, "bring on Shaun of the Dead" when reviewing some other film.

Thanks a lot for that, I would've been kicking myself when I missed it (I only watch David and Margaret)! Does anyone know if they will be on Rove or the Panel? I have a tendency to miss the Panel when people I want to see are on, and I really cannot afford to miss Simon or Edgar.

I'm pretty sure they weren't on Rove. I checked out the website which listed all the guests and they weren't on the list. I also watched part of the show and they weren't mentioned. So I guess they weren't on that.

Plus, since they were on Triple J breakfast they must have been in Sydney and Rove is filmed in Melbourne.

The Panel is filmed in Melbourne too but I might turn it on just in case. Actually I think it's about to start in five minutes!


So are you guys going to see the film tomorrow (opening day)??
My bf and I are planning to go and see it after work tomorrow night.

Nah they weren't on Rove, I was on Simon/Edgar watch last night. I am tuning into the Panel just in case though as well...

Yeah I've got The Panel on in the other room. No sign so far. I don't reckon they will be on. Bummer.

Even though we cheated and got the DVD imported from the UK as soon as it was released. lol! But I'm hanging out to see it on the BIG screen!!

I couldn't think of any other shows they could be on.
The only sort of talk show type thing which I know of filmed in Sydney is Denton's Enough Rope but I'm pretty sure they weren't on that either.

Maybe they are doing local radio and/or tv which is only playing in Sydney and not the rest of Australia???

I did see one article in "The Age" newspaper here in Melbourne.

Oh well.

I'm just about to go see it (for the first time!) first session 10am! Can't wait. It got very favourable reviews last night on the Movie Show. Three and a half stars from all three reviewers. Will watch At the Movies tonight as well to see what Margaret and David make of it.

Yeah let me know what David and Margaret say. I wont be able to watch them because I'll be out seeing the movie!!

Just watched David and Margaret, they gave it pretty good reviews, even though she did describe them as British Dorks.
David mentioned good old Spaced but only mentioned Edgar in regards to it, didn't mention that Simon co-wrote it. (That's three 'mentions' in one sentence! I should extend my vocabulary a bit.)

I've lost some respect for Margaret - I thought she'd love it...

Nice to see them hoping Edgar will go far - that was great!

How could she call them dorks?? Personally I would have used the word "nerds".

Went and saw Shaun at the cinemas last night. It was great!
Really fun to see it with an audience and it seemed to be getting a really good reaction. The audience seemed to love it which was great!

Seemed to be more of a Zombie-fan type crowd rather than a Spaced-fan type crowd, based on which jokes were getting the bigger laughs.
