Very broad question. What sort of games do you like? I'm waiting for Elder Scrolls Oblivion right now. That game alone is enough for me to get an X-box 360.

Just won Path of Neo on PS2, why they went and fucked up the ending I'll never know! Just started again on "The One" difficulty setting, I really hope it's harder 'cos it was a breeze first time!

Psychonauts looks pretty cool. Its a platformer made by the guy who created monkey island. I've played the first level and I was quite impressed. Looks like the story would be good later in the game.

Why, killing spanish villagers which have had strange insects inserted into them and which randomly smash out of their skulls, obviously.

Shadow of the Colossus is the best £30 I have spent in a long, long time. I've been off it for 7 hours and I still keep thinking about how truely awesome (in the dictionary sence, aswell as "cool") it is. And the
battle theme is still ringing in my ears.
I beat the first 2 Colossi then turned it off to savour the experience for another day. I've got the next 3 days off and I intend to spend them well

Tim Schafer didn't create The Secret of Monkey Island. That was Ron Gilbert. Schafer was only the programmer and co-writer. Although it was Orson Scott Card who wrote the sword-fight insults...
Schafer was the lead on Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, and Grim Fandango (which is the best adventure game
ever made).

On reflection, no.
I did get the Starwars SOTE demo, and it was enjoyable.
I also spent about 6 hours making a one-room adventure. It's woeful.

Fallout 2 is a masterpiece. Install it NOW!!

Feb 19 2006, 01:58 AM
By all means, install Fallout 2, and soon, and you'll find a vast gameworld fraught with peril, adventure, mystery, vice, villainy, and heroism. There's plenty of work for an enterprising desert-wanderer, and plenty of people -- slavers, prostitutes, governments, religious orders, among many others -- willing to give it to you. Fame and fortune can be yours. Or, you can just stick to the main quest, and miss over half the game.
Still, it's one of the great PC role-playing games ever made, and one you won't tire of easily, if you appreciate a good RPG.

Jumpin Jack Flash, before you get right into the game, make sure it's properly patched.
Go to here and install the UK Official patches
http://duckandcover.cx/fallout2/files.phpAlso, look at the unofficial patches, the Children Patch that is the first on the list is a must. If you don't install it, there's two or three quests in the UK version of the game that won't work.

Go to your skilldex (big red button on the right hand side), select "LOCKPICK" and use that on the door.

Feb 19 2006, 05:40 PM
Did you download and install all the patches required including the Child one, because if you don't, believe you me, you will have problems in the game.
It's a marvellous game, but when released it badly needed patched.
Jumpin Jack Flash
Feb 19 2006, 05:44 PM
No i didnt i dont really have the time to get into it.Is there any way i could give it to one of you guys?
Douglas Nicol
Feb 19 2006, 05:51 PM
If I were you, I'd keep the game, it's getting pretty hard to get, and download the patches and burn them onto a disk. Then when you do have the time you're prepared.

Been playing Kameo some more, great little adventure. I'm so pissed off about Dead Risings continuous release slippage

at first it was a release title, then it was the 26th of this month, then next month some time and now according to amazon.co.uk its fucking DECEMBER
