Must finish Resident Evil 4, I always avoid playing it for ages but when I do I get really far and enjoy it loads. Must try harder!

fucking awesome game.

I've been playing Beyond Good and Evil recently, 'tis awesome too
Punkass
I actually ended up buying Battlefield 2. It is a great game, installed it on both my Pc's so my mate and I could play via LAN. Well multiplayer via LAN does not have bots in it, which is a load of wank...oh well.

OK, i don't know about what i'm playing right now, but Madden 2006 is scheduled for release in the UK on the 16th September.
Anyone stateside - damn you. Damn you to Hades with your Madden-out-already-ness. I'll be waiting with baited breath after I pre-order it from Play.com. Which I will. ASAP.

Hmm. Never played Madden, the only American sport I really like is Basketball, for I can actually play that in real life.

Although EA's NHL '95 on the sega was great fun, fighting!

Yeah, as was the original EA Hockey on the Mega Drive.

You may not like american football, but it's my passion i'd probably say. I play it on the PS2, on a pitch for a real team (not the 49ers in case you were wondering), watch the games live if possible and am in 2 NFL fantasy leagues already, possibly a thrid at some point.
Yep, I'm a loser, but I don't give a rat's beeeeeehind.

16th September - my pants are already moist with anticipation.

Anyway, I'm off to play Zelda: Twilight Princess next weekend, go me!

And I'm eagerly anticipating the return of the National Hockey League. After a year with no hockey, finally we'll be seeing Sidney Crosby -- touted as the next Gretzky -- playing alongside Mario Lemieux, and Gretzky himself returning to the bench as coach of the Coyotes... I can hardly wait! biggrin.gif

Maybe this year the Senators can finally make it to the finals. Maybe this year my hockey-pool picks won't get injured and sit out most of the season. Maybe I'll be able to score tickets to the scrimmages when the New York Rangers come to town for training camp...

Maybe I should look into pre-ordering NHL 2006, and hope it's as good as ESPN NHL 2K5 was. wink.gif
Sir_Robin_the_brave
Not much more than a year until Halo 3...must start saving up for an xbox360..any news yet on the price anyone?

Damn straight. Right as they officially announced the hockey season will start up, I ordered up satellite the next day. I had season tickets here in Dallas for the past 3 years until all the BS went down. Going to take some getting used to with so many players in other locations than we are used to. New rules are going to make it interesting. Looking like Philly may be a team to look out for this year as well. I rented NHL 2K5 the other day, amazing how far they have come since the Sega Genesis.

Got God Of War yesterday after trading in a shedload of old games (I can't believe they stopped the 'Trade in 5 get a new game free thing') and am loving it so far, some very nice touches with the 'minigames', decidedly violent and quite arcadey in its execution.

Got my Madden and memory card back afetr leaving it at a mate's in Tunbridge Wells. Fortunately, he posted it back and I have received them today so I can resume my wasting of time.

I think the reason they stopped that for just now was because they were getting a glut of certain titles like Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid 2, Timesplitters etc.

Yea, then wait until you smash your controller on the ground because of a spinning wall thing with spikes.
rebelstar
And then get to the top of the spinning wall thing with spikes and discover...another spinning wall thing, with spikes.

God Of War is excellent fun, if a bit short. I suppose there's always 'God Mode' to try when you're done.

One game i'm looking forward to playing the end of this year is The Godfather Game. I might need to upgrade my computer if i wish to play that im afraid.

Problem I have with that is it's being made by EA and I am morally opposed for them and their Goldeneye: Rogue Agent.
Duane Benzie
Yeh but think of the medal of honor games, they were awesome by E.A. it looks very good and reminds me of a game i played called Mafia which is also very enjoyable.

Oh I see.

In my oppinion, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Omniscia
The thing to remember, of course, is that Electronic Arts is an all-consuming mega-corporation with many, many companies under its umbrella. So you can't really establish any "track record" for them; they're just too big. That said, this one looks like it's an in-house project...

I agree, though, it looks interesting.

I dug out the mighty Final Fantasy 7 today. What a classic the only final fantasy game I have ever liked. genius.

A new Resident evil 5 screen shot. He wears gloves I wonder if he has sand paper hands.
maian
Shame bout Twilight Princess being delayed, but I'm glad they are taking the time to improve it. but surely if it's not gonna be til June or whenever they could just bump it onto the Revolution? Or maybe they want to give the good old Gamecube one last hurrah...

I've already got two tongue.gif cool.gif

Recently I've been having a go at the Dungeon Siege 2 demo... It's not particularly great. In fact, it's almost exactly the same as the first game. Pointing at enemies to say "kill him, now kill him". For 70 hours.

Ah well, at least I'll probably be getting it for nothing.
Blind I/O
Well, you'd better like it, or the AwXoMe directors of Microsoft Games'll go medieval on your ass. That, or just fall off their pushbikes.

Lucky bastard sad.gif I'm gonna have to wait until november or whenever Nintendo finally decide to release it sad.gif

I currently need a new game I've played Beyond Good and Evil to death and am sick of kicking arse on Soul Calibur 2. All the rest I'm hopelessly stuck on.

Any suggestions? Gamecube by the way.

Good call there, a brilliant game that is suitably messed up. Shame that the graphics aren't terribly good compared to the Resi games on Gamecube.

Another convert! Ive posted an awful lot from mine, currently on the PC though because the longer posts are just so much quicker with a keyboard. I own Wipeout Pure and Metal Gear Acid but I'm currently play Ridge Racer - a friend loaned me it. I thought I might as well complete that classic PS title than go for something else. Oh and Metal Gear Acid ain't that great by the by.
feck off!
I'm still working my way through 'Forza Motorsport' at the moment . It more than makes up for the lack of Gran Tourismo on xbox methinks. smile.gif

I've been playing Majora's Mask these last couple o'weeks and I'm nearing the end but I've kind of lost interest.
