Can I just say GTA: San Andreas is nearly upon us.......I am starting to foam at the mouth

What is the exact release date for the UK? I've been hearing 19th, 22nd, 29th, on play.com it is 29th where i ordered mine.

The last game I played was Jet Set Willy - I remember the good ole days when games had pixels you could see clearly and only seven colours!

Grand Theft Auto.

Anybody bother to pick the GBA version up or did you all just shell out for San Andreas? Reason I ask is because I got it only to find there's no fucking map in the package. Took it back to the shop and the guy said none of them had a map in. Now I know full well that the US release comes with a shitty fold out map of the city so did us Brits get gypped or did the shop get a dud delivery? And also has anyone got a decent scan of said map, I'd really appreciate it.

I can't see how it could be a fraction as fun on a GBA

So is anybody massively hooked on San Andreas? Personally, I've just opened up the third island Las Venturas, about 40% through.

Yeah, just got to the third Island last night. Had to give up on Zero's missions because I cant shoot down enough biplanes.

Did fly around in the commercial jet on the third airport though, great fun

Ah Zero's missions are pissing me right off. I did the first one okay but the one after that is very very annoying, I've had to leave them for a while.

Finished the ammunation challenges last night, gonna leave the story missions alone for a bit and concentrate on sub missions, eg. taxi, courier etc..

I completed the story about a week and a half ago and i've bought all the property and collected all the oysters last night. I was running low on money but i won $2300001 or there abouts on the horse racing i was so proud of myself.

Yeah, i had to leave that one too. F***ing model aeroplanes.

I'm also stuck on the casino mission. The croupier is never home to get the key card from!!! grrr!!!

Other than that though i've only got a couple more missions to go. There's loads more little bits left to do though. Such a massive game.

Blimey you have been busy, have you also done all of the sub missions eg. ambulance, fire engine etc..




It is indeed a whopping game, new bits keep revealing themselves like the Freight Train missions?? I am getting closer to doing that flaming Supply Lines mission, but the last time I ran out of fuel and fell from the sky about three seconds from the finish, I got mad and decided to leave that one for a while.

Nah i'll be doing them later it took alot of time taking over all the gang territory and i just finished taking all the snap shots today i want to see what you get at 100% completion.

Whitey mentioned this as soon as it was up. I'm just resurrecting a place for all you PSP heads to talk about it. (only 40 days left)

I've played GTA:SA three times over - never completed the fucker 'cos I keep getting stuck on the second or third-to-last mission!

Zero's remote control planes taking out the couriers was my bane for a while!

Umm.... you were back at Grove Street with your brother, I think you have to recruit a big-ass gang or something.

That was the biggest pain in the arse. Luckily you did not have to complete his missions to beat the game. Zero almost got me hating David Cross.....almost.

If this is while the riots are going on then you have not far to go my friend. Go up to a guy who looks like a gang member and press whatever button it is to recruit them. Then grab a car and go and take out those green coloured bar stewards. Soon enough you get to go and meet big smoke....

Will not spoil it but there is very little left to do

You must complete this game. If you do an alien race hires you to join their army!

I love to fanny about flying the planes - especially buzzing the army base and pissing them off - dodging SAMs in the Cessna thing is always amusing!

Did you hear the alarms in the boat/missle silo?

It would alternate between 'turn it up, turn it off' and other phrases, all the while sounding like an alarm - might just be my schizophenia!
