cause I-R's better than weasel,
I-R Baboon beats star of cartoon...
I AM WEASEL!"

This morning, I turned on five at 9.15, and there was a real blast from the past!
Miao and Meow (I think), about 2 plasticene cats, one white and one orangey-red, who hop about the place and roll into little plasticene balls. I loved it when I was little and its still the original series, but with new narration.
And, back to the subject, it still has its incredibly infectious tune...
"Eeeup! Miaow! Eeeup! Miaow! La, la, la, la-la!"
Great stuff!

At the moment it's the Beach Boys "and we'll have fun fun fun till her daddy takes her t-bird away"
but earlier it was the birdie song and a bit of nirvana - they went quite well together.

And it's the type of song you'll be singing away and suddenly realise that someone is watching you as you're belting out "You don't need pants for a victory dance.."
And they look at you like you're a freak. lol.

I've been playing the Shaun soundtrack to death the last few weeks.
When I'm at work I find I'm humming "Don't Stop me Now" or "Whitelines" all day long!

I woke up this morning with a dodgy old Burt Bacharach song in my head called "Wives and Lovers"
"Hey little girl, comb your hair, fix your make-up, soon he will walk through the door."
It's a horribly sexist 50's style song about how women should still make an effort to look lovely for their husbands when they are seeing him off to work in the morning and welcoming him home in the evening (with a pipe and slippers no doubt) And they shouldn't think that because they are married they don't need to make an effort any more. Otherwise he might run off with one of those pretty girls who works at his office.

though i love the song to pieces, The DJ's Got a Gun by Robots in Disguise is far, far too catchy and for three days after each listen i can't stop going
"Ooooh oooh - aaaaaaah!"
"everybody put your hands in the air and get down on the floooooooor"
and
"have you got any old skool hip hop? have you got any thrash? Rock? Bee-bop? Have you got anything a bit more up-tempo? Handbag? disco? electrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"
....which doesn't go down to well in the office...
