Of course I didn't! But I had hoped they'd throw us
a single, solitary bone.
And why's everyone so pissed off all of a sudden? That's one dour battleship they've got. Did they run out of contraband booze?

Well at least the season started off nicely. Hopefully since this is the final season there will not be any crappy filler episodes. Also, very clever to use "frak" for censor bypass, but last night they over did it.

I was going to say there was a scene we didn't see where
Tigh must have ducked off and drank the reserves once he had his revelation, but he was already in CIC at the end of last season. There went that idea.
I'll grant you that, everyone did seem crankier than usual. Then again,
they did lose a ship and nearly get shot to hell and back by four basestars, so understandibly they'd be a little on edge...

Like Helens said, it's not all of a sudden, events were carrying on immediately after the season three closer which was a little more than tense!
I thought it was a good opener, and I'm not too worried about the lack of answers. I'm pretty sure they'll push the story on fairly swiftly now. As for that space battle - absolutely stunning! I've never seen anything like that in a TV serial before.

I'm not going to glance back over the 24 pages of what are I'm sure spoilery goodies but I finally cracked open my Miniseries and Seasons 1-3 box set at the weekend and sat down and watched the opening 3 hour.
Wow, now I get the appeal. I can't wait to get up to date. Just to confirm the, are there 4 Seasons and another feature length episode before it's completely concluded or is it still continuing?

You're right on top of "Exodus" parts 1 & 2, Rache. The second parter has one of the most hhhhawesome moments in the show to date, a real Mal Reynolds-worthy bit of badassery.

Certainly. But I don't recall everyone being quite so snippy at the end of season three.
It's understandable that they would be, under the circumstances, but it just seemed like the tone changed a bit too much between episodes, especially considering that there's no real chronological gap in between.
I'll have to go back and compare them again to be sure.

I'm getting through season one at quite a nice pace. Two episodes at a time. Think I'm up to episode 7 now and Sarah and I are absolutely loving it. There have already been a number of times when I've been grinning like a twat when something good happens or close to tears when something sad happens and I can't quite believe how much I've connected with the characters in such a short space of time. I can't wait to see where the rest of the series go.

Cooly!
I was quite irritated by these last two episodes of season 4.
There was too much of the bad things about BSG - shouting, crying and fracking - especially from Starbuck, who I was just starting to like again. I also still find the Cylons complete twats, but maybe that's the point.
The reveal of the final model had better be fucking good too - because at the moment it can only seem to be one of three of the main cast; Admiral Adama, Roslin or Apollo. No-one else would make me bothered.

during the sequence where the Cavill’s base-stars turn on those run by the dissenting Sixes, you see them blowing up… and in the top left hand corner of the screen – and the starfield - you can see…
…the constellation Orion.
Thus, BSG’s version of “Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion”.

Perhaps they'll do this massive crossover, and we'll find out the last Cylon is, in fact, Rose Tyler!
