Nice! You'll look fantastic.
I was going to get my boyfriend to dress up as Shaun for my sister's party. But now we can't go so I'm to be denied that pleasure. He would have looked ace as he looks a little like Simon Pegg anyway.

i also tried sticking a dart in the side of my head but it kept falling off and i just looked silly!

Yeah, darts are pretty heavy - I think it'd be totally acceptable in a costume situation to make it more cartoony. Like, make a cut-out dart out of cardboard - light enough to stick to your head with bobby pins and easily identifiable.
I don't know that I'll be dressing up Shaun for Halloween - it did however dress up as the world least Simon Pegg-like Shaun for the movie's opening day.

Terrible, I know. I was quite proud of the nametag though - and the tie. I hand painted the bastard to vaguely match Shaun's.
And I made my buddy Taylor an "I Got Wood" shirt.

I have an extra of those. So, probably not Shaun, but I think I could to a passable Noel (zombie or not) or Ed (zombie or not).
I'm still pondering.

I wish anyone here paid attention to the fact that it's halloween. Of course no-one does in Australia so sadly I have not been invited to any Halloween parties and have no reason to dress up. Otherwise my bf would make a great Shaun too!!

I considered dressing up as a giant jaffa cake, no one would have gotten the reference but it would have made a nice picture for the forum none the less. I'm now spending halloween locked up in the cinema for a horror movie carnage fest. anyone doing anything similar? This is at the odeon in Glasgow if anyone is interested.

Our pals are having a halloween party and Hubby's goin as Shaun and I'm going as a zombie (nothing new there then!) We downloaded the shaun badge and pocket off that site above but we got Shauns face too - I do adore Mr Pegg (and he's a fox) but there was something disturbing seeing his face on my husband - I felt so unloyal and almost like I was two timing my hubby! (I can imagine hubby wearing it at an "initmate" time for a joke - hmm - e's got a sick humour........HEY? Perhaps it would be good with Simon - wearing a mask of my hubby! haha - nah ...don't even go there girlie!)

I'm gonna dress up just as a general zombie masher. So, not specifically and SOTD characters, but bloodied clothes, facial scars and a crimson-stained 'blunt object'...

It'd be interesting to find out if there's a massive rise in people dressing up as zombies this year.
What? It would!

If you go to the North American website for the movie, there is a "download your SHAUN COSTUME" link. If you follow it, it brings you to an area with pdf images of Shaun's face, the red on Shaun's shirt (complete with pocket) and Shaun's name tag.
However, the home made stuff I have seen and read about in this thread sounds much neater.

The ability to upload images to the spaced-out server is a little privilage for the moderators. To show an image here you will have to upload it to a host and then use the IMG tags to show it.

Usually means you have to put the "http://" before the "www." in the link to the photo.
That always works with me when I get that error.
