'SOTD' got mentioned on "E! News Live" the other night during a segment reporting on the weekend box office success of Buffy'sSarah Michelle Gellar's new Sam Raimi-produced Japanese remake 'The Grudge'.

The reporter guy said something about how Hollywood was "no longer afraid" of genre movies and horror, listing some recent success stories such as 'The Ring' remake, 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' remake, the 'Dawn of the Dead' remake and (as the annoying reporter guy put it) "..even, heheheh, caaaamedy movies like 'Shaun of the Dead'!"

But I'm sure Simon would be excited to know that his movie was mentioned in the same breath as BUFFY's..

More like Hollywood has ran out of ideas so there looking else where to make a quick buck.
