WOW !!! I've been looking forward to this for ages, such a shame that it is such a long way off (I guess it's so people an put 28 days later out of their minds wink.gif )

If you haven't read the book, go buy it now - also fantastic biggrin.gif

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm incredibly happy! I remember watching this when I was ten, on a little B&W portable in my attic room. It scared the living hell out of me. Clack-clack-clack-clack.
Raven
It should be pointed out that the above is only a provisional release date at present so things could change. Given the wrangling that's gone on over Triffids for a number of years now this still may not happen . . .
Raven
Now listed on:

Amazon

Doesn't mean much but hopefully it's a step closer to having a copy in my DVD player smile.gif

This is a double dose of good news on a gloomy sunday since the link you provided informed me that The Nightmare Man is also going to be available soon.

Ooooooh I'm back in my youth again. And it's tea time.

Amazon recorded record pre-orders today for Day of the Triffids. The astounding coincidence is that everyone who ordered appears to be members of a Spaced Fan Club!
Raven
If you ordered from Amazon you were a mug - it's cheaper on Play! smile.gif
Svein
I was ordering something else, so the shipping was free...

Ingram
Play.com is superior in all delivery aspects. So true.

I survived how long without Day of the Triffids... an extra couple of days is not going to cause suicide!

I'm interested Raven, thanks for the heads up. I'm always up for a re-watch.

Do you know if it will be on the Iplayer?
Raven
No idea about iPlayer, but I do know they are showing two parts back-to-back.

Quality. Thanks for the info Raven. I've never seen this but it's one of my favourite books so I can't wait.
Raven
You won't be disapointed, it's a very good adaptation!

Bonus points for spotting a young Gary "2.4 Children" Olsen! (in episode 3!).
