Serenity bar fight rehearsalPity Summer Glau isn't involved in this, although this is a better fight. Wonder why they cut it down.

Just started on the series (despite having seen Serenity several times and owning the DVD)
Two episodes in and I'm very much enjoying it, not sure why I didn't get around to watching it sooner really.
I might even get around to reading the rest of the thread as well. The enthusiasm shown in the first few pages is quite infectious. You guys were REALLY looking forward to that film weren't you.

Oh I'm almost jealous that you get to watch them!
HUGE firefly fan. The whole season rocks. Won't say any more in fear of spoiling it. Have you seen Serenity?

Have you seen Serenity?
Yes a few times, including at the cinema. Just watched "Bushwhacked" - excellent episode.
I think I'll do a few episodes back-to-back tomorrow.

By coincidence, I dug out my box set earlier in the week and watched Trash again.
So very, very good. What were the execs at Fox on?!

Regarding 'Trash', I bet if the show had carried on for more seasons, Monty would have been killed in a dramatic way, leading to a revenge plot.
Actually, I bet eventually Mal would have had to kill Saffron, following some serious 'we both know you won't shoot me, lover...' type dialogue.

I just want to know about the 'hands of blue' guys. Wish we'd found out what they were all about.
Well you know the stuff the film doesn't go over.

Knowing Whedon, I suspect her character development would have been a lot more complex than that.

Oh my wow, me too! Fantastic posters in both sets, love the design. Reminds me of the Fallout artwork but a bit more stylish.

I've been looking for something new to put up in my bedroom for a while now, and I think the Bellerophon and Shadow posters could well be it.

I take it I'm not the only one aware of the
'Help Nathan Fillion Buy The Rights To Firefly' campaign that sprang up via Twitter?
I certainly approve; here's to hoping it generates sufficient buzz.

I'd chip in. On one condition.
The advert to announce the new series is Nathan Fillion, in full Mal get up, dancing around Serenity with a moving floor to Return of the Space Cowboy.
I know thats not the video for that song, but it'd be great.
