It was the one where Niska kidnaps Mal and Wash last night. The torture scene is very funny, unintentionally or not. There's also some killer River stuff. 'No power in the 'verse can stop me'.

That episode is "War Stories," GH. God I wish that one came with a warning. You need to warn a woman before double bare chested Fillion/Tudyk action.

I was talking to some other fans at the weekend and they actually went along to the cinema to get tickets. They said that the staff at the cinema were completely bemused by the amount of people trying to get tickets.

I love the stories, the setting, and the characters. I'm so glad I got into it now - when there is the prospect of the film to fulfil my need for more Firefly - instead of watching the series as it aired, falling in love with it, and then seeing it cancelled.

Wahey, excellent stuff. Welcome indeed to our rowdy gaggle of Browncoats. You're not wrong about the late arrivals syndrome, it does rather soften the blow, what with knowledge of film (and indeed a rumoured trilogy) to sweeten the deal. Glad I arrived late (as usual), too.

No matter what you do, or say, or plot... no matter how you come down on us I will never ever harm you. You're on this table you're safe. I'm your medic, and however little we may like or trust each other, we're on the same crew. Got the same troubles, same enemies and more than enough of both. Now we could circle each other and growl, both sleep with one eye open but that thought wearies me. I don't care what you've done. I don't know what you're planning on doing, but I'm trusting you. I think you should do the same, cause I don't see this working any other way.

Mal: "Are you offering me a trade?"
Jayne: "A trade!? Hell, it's theft. This is the best damn gun made by man. It has extreme sentimental value. It's miles more worthy than what you got."
Mal: "What I got? She has a name."
Jayne: "So does this!" (caresses the gun lovingly) "I call it Vera."
Mal: "Well, my days of taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle."
Zoe: "Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing?
Book: "Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps."
Wash: (to a jar with a cow fetus, mock-serious) "Do not fear me. Ours is a peaceful race, and we must live in harmony..."
Mal: "Oh! That was bracing. They don't like it when you shoot at them. I worked that out myself."
Zoe: "No one's gonna force you to go, Jayne. As has been stated -- this job's strictly speculative."
Jayne: "Good. 'Cause I don't know these folks, don't much care to."
Mal: "They're whores."
Jayne: "I'm in."
