Could have been better. (I only had a 300 word count to work with.) But I like it.

Thanks. I tried to get the gist of it there, but there's a lot of back story. (The fact that Fox aired the episodes out of order, for example, is most incriminating; even some of the fan base had a hard time keeping up.)

Converted one of my friends to the wonders of Firefly, just as I had done with Spaced and Family Guy in the past. Now, to regain my DVDs, watch them again, and hand them on to another.

Interesting...Nathan, Alan, Adam, Summer and Chiwetel Eijofor get credits on the poster, but the others don't.

Cool poster, but it is weird about the credits. I imagine it was some kind of negotiation/deal with agents and the like.

I loved it!

As far as getting it all, even tho you've not seen any of it before, than yea...you'll be right, it's totally user friendly.

I'm just so overwhelmed with how awesome this film is and was...

OK, not so much of a "!!!" really.....where's Zoe? Where's River w/ her Big Damn Gun? And I'm not crazy about the face sculpts (except for cigar-chompin' Jayne, who looks great...might pick that one up.)

Serenity is having a premiere and showing at the Edinburgh Film Festival (22nd-24th August) and on the 23rd you can go along to an onstage interview with the man himself.

I'm lucky enough to be going along to both. Aint no more tickets left though.

There's going to be another screening of Serenity on "Best of the Fest" which is the 28th but the tickets don't come out until later in the month.

The one where they defend Inara's friend's Cathouse was on Sci-Fi yesterday.

I'd forgotten how sad it is when Inara is crying because Mal has gone with someone else.

Possibly the only important-to-the-show's-arc moment in "Heart of Gold" (overall a mediocre episode, IMO)....it is the only outward evidence of Inara's true feelings for Mal that we ever got to see. Aww.

Kaylee's line about boy whores is great, tho.

Yea, I just walked in the house yesterday...and the kids were watching it, and I walked in on that part of the episode....and I just started crying myself.
