In non-comedies, first one that comes to mind is Stuart in Queer As Folk. Ooh, he was complex, that one.
If it was characters in comedies, I'd be here all day.

Sorry to be boring and predictable on the comedy front but it has to be Daisy.
On the serious side that'd be Columbo. Strange choice but I have fond memories of those shows in my youth.

Tch. Rayanne was clearly the best character from MSCL. I desperately wanted to be her, but unfortunately was just a more whiny, less cool version of Angela.
Anyway, my favourite character is currently Vince Noir from the Mighty Boosh (sorry, but I'm new to the Boosh and you know what fledgling obsessions are like. I'll shut up about it in a few days).

Hee hee! It's from Monkey Dust. It might be slightly misquoted, though, as I did it from memory. I'll be changing it to a Boosh quote soon.

Does it refer to ejaculation? Because I always thought that was spelt 'cum' - not that I've had cause to write it that often.

I take it back the OED agrees with you!
5. [f. COME v.] Semen ejaculated at sexual climax, esp. spilt ejaculate. Also (rarely), fluid secreted by the vagina during sexual play. Cf. COME v. 17. slang.
1923 J. MANCHON Le Slang 90 Come, sperme. 1967 R. BRAUTIGAN Trout Fishing in Amer. 25 The walls, the floor and even the roof of the hut were coated with your sperm and her come. 1969 P. ROTH Portnoy's Complaint 183 Tell me! what did she do with your hot come! 1976 Miss London 23 Aug. 12/4 His attitude to sex is ambivalent. ‘Each night I had to clean the come off the back seat of the cab,’ he remarks in reasonable disgust.
Tee hee - spilt ejaculate!
(I'm so mature)

Aha! Don't question my knowledge of the spelling of sexual slang, young lady.
Actually, I was going to spell it 'cum' (cos, yes, it does refer to ejaculate) but that just looks like something a 14 year old boy would write.

Tom Baker was always the definitive Doctor in my mind.
I'm quite partial to Jon Pertwee and Peter Davidson too.
I think it's really just based on the age I was when they were transmitted and the era I grew up with
Oh and I also love Kif and Morbo from Futurama

Having been buying up the DVD releases I'd have to say that Tom Baker is probably the most enjoyable Doctor to watch but they all have their own strengths. I grew up watching the Baker/Davidson/Baker/McCoy stories (the eighties in other words

) and the ones I remember the best are Davidsons. Pertwee is probably my least favourite Doctor, but then again I've not seen may of his stories . . .

Pertwee was the first doctor I watched. I used to watch him in "Catweazle" around about the same era. Always liked him and yet found him slightly scary at the same time
Tom Baker is the most Doctor-ish Doctor in my mind (not meaning that he seems like a GP, just meaning that he suits the character - or defines the character)
And I always liked Peter Davidson too (and remember watching him in All Creatures Great and Small with my mum around the same time as his Dr Who era)
I never watched any of the McCoy episodes, I think by then I was old enough to be turning into a real girl and doing girl-stuff instead of watching Dr Who. lol.
