Robert 'Kryten' Llewellyn has just announced on his twitter that series 10 has been commissioned!
Starting filming in 2010.

Fantastic... so they're missing out series 9 then?
Any idea if it's BBC or Dave?

He didn't say, but i've heard Dave had been interested in a new series.

I don't think I can bring myself to watch another series after the shite specials they did.
Sir_Robin_the_brave
I didn't make it past the first one.

Don't think I can be bothered with anymore of it now.

Conformation: Red Dwarf Back For More.

I'm marginally hopeful that individual episodes will work, where the three-parter didn't. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.
Raven
Red Dwarf to return next year.

...and Kryten reiterates. In front of a live audience no less, but I find it difficult to be completely enthusiastic without word on Grant.

Same here. It'll certainly be hard to get back to its best.

More confirmation of the return...

It doesn't say it on the article, but according to all sorts on Twitter...

* Six Episodes, in front of a studio audience.
* Filming November 2011 - January 2012, for Broadcast in September/October 2012.
* Hattie Hayridge possibly playing Holly again.

Not sure the last one is correct, but the first two are supposedly announced by Doug Naylor.

It'll be better than Back To Earth, but not as good as the older episodes. That's my prediction (and the probable outcome).
