Okay I already know I want to buy all of Spaced and already own Shaun of the Dead, but...
What about 'Nick Frost's Danger - 50000 Volts!' is it worth buying?
Oh and, 'Black Books' Haven't seen any of it but I am on a buying spree...is it any good/worth buying?

I'd get series 1 of Black Books definately. Wasn't as keen on Series 2 and didn't see all of series 3 (but what I saw was great). So perhaps start off with series 1 and see how you get on with it? it's worth it!

Series one is a must - if only for the wine drinking episode . . .
"Bernard . . . Bernard . . . Bernard . . . look Bernard! Bernard . . ."
Classic stuff!

Grapes of Wrath! It's my favourite. And the DVD has the 'Black Dolls' episode. 'Drugs! Grapes!'

Yes buy the whole box set. I'm mean what's the point in buying just the 1st and 3rd series. You might as well get them all.
Also you need to buy the "Big Train" dvd, all 5 series of "Red Dwarf", "Peep Show", all 3 series of "Teachers" all 3 series of "Father Ted".
That should tide you over for a bit, and make you proper skint.

And then there's Father Ted . . .

Have ended up buying 4 DVDs in the sales today:
High Fidelity
Fever Pitch (was having a bit of a Nick Hornby day . . .

)
Father Ted (Series 3) and
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (which I've heard is very good but have yet to see for myself

).

Oh my god, I used to love that. I had a book and everything. Then the kids all changed and I kept seeing the same episode, 'Nails', about the mermaid boy. It was quite sad actually.

Must admit, that`s the only Hornby film I haven`t seen, and probably never will, because of the Grantness. Although having said that, I didn`t like Fever Pitch much either. I`m guessing High Fidelity scores high because of Cusack.

I know the Grant effect is off putting but it's still worth watching if you liked the book. There's a decent script and Grant isn't at his Grantish worst.

i absolutly loved danger! Incoming attack and Danger! 50,000 volts.
Nick frost becomes his usual cynical self in his effort to find the most stupidest danger situations and (even funnier) experts at getting out of it.
Its a shame that it was only able to get air time on channel 5...

Seth Green was talking about a 4th series of Family Guy in this months issue of Empire. Maybe everyone else already knew about it but it came as excellent news to me. Just thought i'd mention it in case anyone else was as clueless as me.

I sort of dislike family guy because my friends over-quoted it before I'd seen it, so I wanted to hate it because I'd made such a fuss about how bored I was of it but there are some moments of pure genius. Stewie is so cool.

Ichi the Killer is slightly overrated but still worth watching nonetheless. It's not as gruesome as i thought it would be, except for the famous meathook scene.
I Don't think Danger Incoming Attack has a realease date does it? I might be wrong though because i haven't checked or anything.
