How about... The Knickers-In-Twist Award for Comedy Most Offensive to Daily Mail Readers:

Jerry Springer The Opera - Stewart Lee
Nighty Night - Julia Davis
Monkey Dust
Peep Show
Starscream`s Ghost
I`d like to know why everyone hates Jimmy Carr so much, I think he`s hilarious. Oh well, must just be me...

Um, I don't know... New Project You're Most Looking Forward to (with nervous anticipation/dread in case it's not as good as you expect)...

League of Gentlemen film
New series of Look Around You
Nathan Barley
etc

I quite like Jimmy Carr too, but I do think it's funny that everyone hates him so much. So do carry on. biggrin.gif
Starscream`s Ghost
Mmmm. Project you know isn`t going to be as good as the press it`s getting would suggest:

Because he hasn't realised that the trick to sarcasm is to use it sparingly for best effect.

Shuuurrely Jerry Springer The Opera is eligible? It's been around on stage for ages but it's only just been shown on tv this year. Aaaahh...

Crikey. Too many things to choose from! Are we only allowed to pick one thing for each category?

Carr used to write gags for Gervais. And he is very funny. The Stephen Hawking bit in his live show made my face hurt.

when you look at carr and gervais they are just both generic, kind of boring comedians but when you take it down to the nitty gritty, you know when it comes down to 'well i dont like the way he just smiled then' and 'oh you can just TELL he loves himself!' then without a doubt ricky gervais pisses on jimy carr, jimmy carr is an idiot, i would not be suprised if he diddnt write his own jokes...not because they are funny, no no no no no no!Because they way he says them even a deaf blind dumb person would know hes about to crack a joke! Its brobably because hes trying to think 'remember the punchline, remember the punchline, remem......'!

i dont like him realy

I love Ricky Gervais.

Love, love, love.

P.S. I have also voted. It was fun. Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding may have got a couple of votes*.
