Tell you another thing that's really irritating and patronising, those 'phone bar' ads.

Boo Hoo! I'm sure the huge pile of money she sleeps on every night is some consolation.  rolleyes.gif

And I suppose having a pile of cash solves all lifes problems right.

That is something that really really pisses me off, when people think that someone who has more money than them must be happy and can't possibly be depressed or unhappy. It all comes back to that whole wanting to be celebrity thing. What a big fat pile of steaming bullshit that is.

I feel a bit sorry for her really. She's really shy and has so much press attention. It'd scare the crap outta me

Considering the major sucess of Harry Potter, its expected that she has at least some press attention. And she doesn't seem to mind it much; i mean she does interviews and attends all the premieres and such.

I remember one article and thought is seemed a bit off. There was a train laid on, all decked out as the Hogwarts Express or whatever it's called, and it was meant to be a promotion for one of the books, the second or third book and Rowling was arriving on the train at this station and all these kids waiting to catch a glimpse of her.

Apparently she slipped out to avoid it, even though it had been laid on.

If it's true that seems a bit low.

ANYWAY, back on topic.

Sorry to drag it totally off topic btw.

She does seem to be getting kinda used to the press attention now, but some people were just never meant to be in the public eye, and can make their life a misery. People like Jeremy Dyson, whose just doing what he loves for a living and seems to get more and more reclusive all the time.

Now I f**king hate Lord of the Rings. It's just so long and tedious. I'd rather kill myself than watch that shite again.

Oh yes indeedy my friend. Why o why o why o why </Points of View> do hoardes of otherwise completely sane people want to waste 12 hours of their lives watching stupid little things with hairy feet go trudging around New Zealand? And actually care about what happens to them?

Feh.
