I WENT! Well done for posting Downsy, I came home knackered on Thursday night, had a look at the old email and promptly sent off a load of texts inviting my mates. In the event, only 2 came.

But it was good, yes. It weas a short q&a, only about half an hour, but he answered questions about Hot Fuzz (not many more details revealed unfortunately) and the Spaced book (due at Christmas). Myself and Hoover then decided to be all fannish and talk to him, but he was with other people and we had to follow him all the way down 4 flights of escalators to get to speak to him. However, he then signed our DVDs with various messages and whatnot. So we were appropriately excited. And we were wearing our homemade Zombaid T-shirts, and he was appropriately amused.

Eyy!

That's really cool Agent Pickle.
Thanks for giving us the details

Yeah, I went. I asked him about Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim, but he was understandably reluctant to divulge too much information about either.

Still, it was nice to see him talking about his previous work and his experiences on set of Land of the Dead and all that malarkey. So well worth it!

Were you the dude who had his hand up for ages and kept being ignored by the interviewer?

No, you didn't have to.
frostitute
Yes, they did.
Hoover
Yup, we really did HAVE to... that was the only way out.

Had we have seen any windows, Lord knows we would have flown out like we usually do.
superfurryandy
That's what I would have done.

Don't think I had my hand up that long? Took 2 or 3 questions before he spotted me, so, no, guess not... I was on the right hand side (next to the aisle in line with the door) of about the third or fourth row from the front.

Oh no I thought you were the guy in the centre 3 rows from the back who kept being passed over. We were the three who came in 2 minutes too late (thanks to Hoover) and had to scrabble for seats.
