This is possibly the worst thread this forum has ever seen...

But I have the same watch as Nick Frost in SOTD.

Well it pleased me anyway!

I have a new watch. The instructions have some absolute bollocks written on the back by the designer. "Minimum is a modern parameter" for example.

I bought my dad a new watch last week. mellow.gif

"At the dawn of biotechnologies, that which makes objects in fusion with our bodies and so makes them disappear forever, some objects still have legitamacy. The wrist watch is one of them."

I've got one of those 'Kinetic' watches that are powered by body movement. Over Christmas I moved so little that my watch stopped.
Ade
I've got one of those 'Kinuseless' torches. It's powered by the rays of the sun.

My watch is powered by the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ. And a battery.

Then I got angry
You wouldn't like me when I'm angry....
Then I put my glasses on and all was well

Anyway, I have this old crappy watch that i have had for years and it has an analogue and digital thingy on its face. However, the analogue is about two hours and ten minutes too fast.
Great for confusing foriegners and tourists who try to read the watch off of your hand in a service station/airport. tongue.gif

i wear a baby g watch that i have had since i was 16. it has lots of flecks of paint on it now from many set painting days, but it is a great watch and pretty much indestructible, hence having it without breaking it for 8 years. it has the time, day and date on it and it also has a timer and a stopwatch. what more could i want?
i also have a girly silver one for posh moments, but as these are few and far between i don't wear it much biggrin.gif

The only time I seriously wore a watch was about 20 years ago. It was a black watch with black hands and black numbers. You could only see it if you held it to the light in a certain way. It did it's job without me being a slave to time. I also never took it off...for 10 years. Well, I did have to take it off twice, once when I was in the hospital & once when I was in jail.
