If i was in my room at uni i'd go for my electric guitar, it hefty but is quite easy to swing, otherwise i could use some of my rather heavy textbooks.
At home (as mentioned in the Zombie invasion thread) i'd have plenty of knives, axes etc, but my weapon of choice would be the heavy shepherds crook we have, its bloody heavy and would really do some damaged as well as keeping them at a distance, plus it would give me an excuse to break out my old wizard outfit for effect...

Yeah, but neither of those could plausibly be found in someone's home/immediate vicinity.
dang! and in the movies it looks so plausable!
guess i'll just have to use lynx and a lighter...

Who's Ritchie Blackmore?
He's the former guitar of Deep Purple who's currently writing all sort of weird folky shite now. Must be some kind of penance for Smoke on the Water I guess.

This is Ritchie, about to smash in an ABC television camera lens with his Strat, at the California Jam.

Now, what about a gas-powered polesaw, like
this one here? Seems to be it's a bit safer than a regular chainsaw, since you can keep the zombies at a distance.

Hahahahahahaha I have been prepared for the invasion!
I have a skip full of bricks (a bloody massive skip) and I have fixed an engine and steering wheel capable of moving the Brick Behemoth how pleasant it will be to roll around town on my wheelie skip crushing zombies and hey it's too tallfor them to get onto because they wont be able to climb it as I speed around crushing them!
Hey If anyone needs a lift when zombie invasion breaks out then on the day of the outbreak e-mail your address wait upstairs and jump onto the Bricky when it rolls past!
And I have a gun collection bigger than Mike Watts (probably)

From my room I'd use various electrical appliances - printer, TV, VCR etc, though these are strictly 1-use weapons. Though I also have a street hockey stick which would work ok. Oh, and I have an american football which I can throw pretty hard. That'd work I guess. Or I could run upstairs into our loft and use my large number of drumsticks. Ooh I could have them in funky sheaths and everything!

Hmmm, well. I think that cd's and DVDs would work better than Vinyl, so any of the multitude of crappy movies that I have. I think Showdown in Little Tokyo would kill any zombie. It almost killed me!

FOOLS!! Are you not prepared for the invasion! I have been researching and preparing for years and all you have done is make jokes. I have read into the subject and the two best weapons, my weapons of choice that is, are the crowbar for hand to hand, good for ripping into brains and opening locked doors, the semi-automatic rifle, for those far away head shots and an axe to destroy a staircase to avoid the enemy for a while. Have you no sense!

I am a big fan of killing Zombies with a hammer. Perhaps simply because the day after seeing SOTD for the first time, I went to work and found a hammer, inexplicably placed on my desk next to the computer. I picked it up and held it in my hand and immediately imagined myself smashing it into the brains of invading zombies. I believe I must have looked good and ready to use it when a co-worker walked in, as she looked very concerned.
But besides that, it is quite nice. Good weight for hard-hitting, bot sides can do plenty of damage and also useful for opening locked doors. Plus, if you are totally weak, like myself, it is quite easy to weild. Light too, so as not to slow you down. think about it.

hey I've just figured something (bound to put me ahead in the disgust-o-meter) if I'm skip surfing maybe I could use a good old fly-mo for getting zombies I dont run down.............Just thinking about the sound and sight of a fly-mo rapidly flicking zombies soft brains up the walls of shops as I roll past........and the mess

I think it would have to something out of my garage, maybe a garden hoe, and short range a humble hammer.
Also i would ware my very thick, and ahem well fitted bommer jacket from my high school years to supply a mild and comfertable armour... God i think about this too much

Having said that, my house doors are big metal bastards, so it's kinda hard for them to be broken down. Still, I gotta eat sometime...!
