I just finished listening to the second commentary on the Shaun of the Dead DVD and they mentioned Shaun of the Dead 2 "From Dusk Till Shaun" nearing the end. Is this legit? or were they just kidding? I couldn't find any other topics regarding this so thought I might ask. Cause if it is real then that is F-in awesome!!

EDIT: hang on there is a topic already, super sorry...

I think it was just very quickly thought out pun by Simon at the end of the commentary as he and Edgar have said that to make another film set in Shaun's universe might take away from the original perfectly formed movie that is Shaun Of The Dead. Have to say that I respect that decision.
Of course if they did do From Dusk Till Shaun, it'd be vampires rather than zombies. So how does anyone reckon Shaun would deal with an onset of vampires in East Finchley? Have a sit down?

Pool cues make excellent stakes, but they've already used them in one film...

Actually, Simon Pegg has mentioned on a couple of occassions that he would like to make a sequel to SOTD, whether he does or not is another question entirely.

There's an interview on Frostitute's site where Simon says they'd liked to do a sequel but rather than a film it would be in comic book form. The SotD comic book looks really good so a Dusk Till Shaun one would be a nice follow up.

I dunno if I'd want them to make a sequel. Sequels to movies I love make me nervous

Set the scene Shaunis asleep on a plane in a dream sequence h talking to the people he let down portrayed as zombies. There can be some sort of pants shitting moment then Shaun wakes up next to Liz on the way to Transylvanian or some other place.... you get the Idea.
