Rite last night I was doing a pub quiz and the question came up:

"what is the name of the pub in Spender?"

and the bloody answer was The Winchester! I coulda kicked meself for not knowing this!!!

Does the Winchester pop up in any other tv programmes/films so i know for future pub quizzes!!!

Sort of on the same subject (not really but you'll see what I mean) I spotted in the Bizarre column of today's The Sun that Pete Doherty did a gig at The Boogaloo in North London. It was originally Simon and Nick's local The Shepherds, where The Winchester was based on.
