Hey has anyone played this game?
It seems after I have installed the game and I go to play the game and it claims my computer claims that it can't find the CD ROM and that I should put the correct one in, but it is in the drive!!!
Could someone help me please!!!

It's an older game innit? If you're running XP, it might not work at all, unless you change the settings which is a bit of an undertaking, but you can do it if you look in the help section, if thats what the problem is I mean...

Its not that old a game, its says it can run with windows XP.
I can't see what the problem is...
I'm doing it what it tells me, I can't find what I think may be the help file for the game....

Well, I'd check the configuration file for the game (should be in the main folder of the game) and see what drive it's looking for the CD in. It may just be a drive-letter issue.
Barring that, there are other courses of action you can pursue, but they're somewhat murky, and I don't feel comfortable mentioning them here without the express consent of the mods.

Is it a fully legal copy of the game? If it's a straight copy of a CD then it's probably the anti piracy stuff like Securom or something at work. Some game CDs have extra subchannels in the data with deliberately corrupted data in them, when you copy the CD, the CD copying software detects the corrupt data and fixes it, then when the game runs, and searches for the corrupt hidden data, finds it's been fixed and knows it's a copy and not the original disc. I found that when I was trying to copy Unreal Tournament 2k3 CDs (not for piracy, of course, but so I could take the discs somewhere without fear of losing the originals).
If it's a legal copy, it could just be a compatibility problem with the CD drive and the anti-piracy stuff on the CD.
If it's something to do with windows XP try running the game in Windows 2000 Compatibility mode (I had to do this to get Max Payne 2 to work). Do this by right clicking on the game shortcut and going to properties, it'll be in there somewhere.

I tried the checking compatibilty and starting it in another mode of Windows.
It is a legal copy, I bought it from GAME and it was sealed, so I presume its legal lol.
Can't really work out the drive changing letters thing, I followed some steps I found but it didn't work.
I'm still stuck for ideas.
But now its not coming up with the message saying can not find CD ROM, put in correct CD ROM. It comes up with Windows finding an error and whether I want to send it or not send it.......

Is this the only disc that does it?
Does anyone else have another machine you could try it on?
It could just be a faulty disc. They happen.

Well, if all else fails, you can always use the number one compact disc cure: removing all copy-protection knavery. I'll leave you to figure out what that means.
